After half an hour and about 45 primeval stones later I had refined another wood shape gu. Although the marionette gu is a good gu it still needs work in my last life I had to make a hole in each hand so it could hold weapons even then it was hard to carve certain details on it by hand, but shape wood Gu can shape the wood however I want so long as I have primeval essence, I can even manipulate the wood to an extent with it. In my last life I struggled a bit till I got my hands on another shape wood Gu from a merchant caravan.

Hahaha I have about 95 primeval stones left, I have steep tea's gu solved as i eats tea, string gu eats hairs I don't even have to pay for that, marionette gu eats wood and hairs, while shape wood Gu eats tree bark. All I got to do now is advance to upper stage that way my steep tea gu will give me peak rank 1 essence.

I activated the marionette gu and created a new marionette body. I'll carry this one on my back as a backup, I then used wood shape gu to change the marionette to my liking. I shaped its head into that of a jackal with canine teeth, I gave him fingers and toes to help it's movement and utility. One hand I gave long claws while the other hand I changed completely. It was more of a blade no longer looking like a hand, while the other marionette I gave it the head of a eagle, and it's feet were like giant bird talons.

That should be good for now I then made three chains out of wood and then left to the black Smith and hired him to make me a special product, I then went to a clothing store and bought two large well made green cloaks and a large backpack. I put the cloaks on my marionettes and I even equipped the eagle marionette with a sword. Lastly I bought paint and spent the night painting them, the jackal was painted all black with red eyes as for the eagle one he was all yellow.

I have to paint them otherwise everyone could see their made out of wood and realize that fire is their weakness, but that's what the cloaks are for. The cloaks are dipped in a fire resistant sap helping them cover up their weakness. I even bought a certain gu and gave it to the eagle marionette, because so long as I have primeval essence I can let them use gu worms, but their are alot of cons of doing this. First I'll have more gu worms to feed and second it takes alot of concentration to do this. If the strength of my soul was increased I could do it easier, but in my clan their is no way to do so.

After equipping my marionettes I spent about 15 primeval stones leaving me with 80 primeval stones left. Sadly I'm still not done, I then spent 5 more primeval stones to buy two vials of poison. One that has a weak paralyzing effect and another that clots blood. I put them on the jackal marionette mainly focusing on the teeth and claw.

Now I have 75 primeval stones left, it's true what they say power will always have a price,but its what was necessary. Once I advance to upper stage I'll be able to to use steep tea to give me peak rank 1 essence. I'll then be able to manipulate my marionette for about 30 minutes. That should be enough for me to safely get to the food inheritance. In my last life I was at rank 2 when I found the inheritance, it's a bit far from the clan. Making it more dangerous for me to go there if I'm too weak, but now that I had the marionette gu and my marionettes are all kitted out. I should be strong enough to go there.

So for the next few days I spent anytime I had on cultivating my aperture, but even with the steep teas help I was still a little away from advancing. It seems like I'll have to risk it and go for the inheritance now, it's the last weekend before this month ends. I need a whole day to go there and come back, so it needs to be on a weekend, I could lie and tell the school I advanced to the next stage, but one I hadn't and two even if I had advanced I wouldn't tell no one. My cultivation speed has just been to fast, once I advance to upper stage my cultivating speed could match an A grade top talent. Even an elders support could not explain this issue away.

I can't wait any longer at the end of this month the event Strength Path Emerges will start and one of the "benefits" of this event would be increased monsters with Strength Path gu. The dangers would be more than doubled, and It would only be safe to go after I reach rank 2, but I can't wait any longer not only do I have to get the food path inheritance, but also the demonic inheritance. It has a gu worm that will be vital for me if I wish to succeed in the strength path Emerges event. Luckily that inheritance is closer, it's just in a dangerous place. It's right at the border of our territory, being right next to a hostile clan.

I first filled my bag with a first aid kit and some other supplies, I then put the eagle marionette in the bag. As I carried the jackal marionette on my shoulder as if he was a drunk friend. I then put a sign on my door that meant i was cultivating and not to be distributed. Then I left the clan through a route that I knew of before. If all goes as planned I should return tomorrow afternoon.

My trip went pretty well whenever I needed to rest I had the jackal marionette carry me. The only time I was disturbed was when a ocelot attacked me. However the second I activated the marionette gu and had the jackal attack the ocelot ran away. Looks like it had no gu worms to help it, no wonder it ran away I would too if a jackal beast attacked me. After a few hours of jogging I made it to an area full of cliffs.

I was running low on primeval essence I was down to 17% even after trying my hardest not to rely on the marionette gu, but it doesn't matter I'm here now. I pulled a rope out of my bag and tied it to a tree nearest to the edge of the cliff I had the jackal marionette go first since I couldn't carry him and climb down at the same time.

We went down three feet and went into a hole in the cliff,but there was no peace the second we got there. A large red vulture started attacking my jackal marionette, it was using its talons to attack but since the marionette was made of wood. All it did was scratch it bit " come on your ruining the paint job on him". I then had the jackal grab the vulture by its leg and slam it into the wall till it stopped moving. I walked up to it " dam thing doesn't even have one gu". I'm my last life there was no animals here,let's see it seems to be a red boned vulture. Man a bone path gu would be nice, their usually easy to feed and are quite handy.

I then walked deeper into the hole where a nest of five large eggs were at. Oh loot don't mind if I do I took all five eggs and put them in my bag. Then I took a couple steps deeper when a voice called out
