Final Battle (Part 2/2)

"Ritual of Annihilators" Memphis shouted as she was being shrouded by a faint red light around her body, yet the magic structure is actually quite similar to Xersacran's last spell, an insane amount of mana is being gathered right in front of her but this time it's abnormally stable but at the same time it carries a terrifying power.

"Don't underestimate me, I'm still one of the Celestials that has a mana comparable to our most powerful wizard, Minna!"

"Self-Destruction Spell?" Lucas's face fell when he heard Memphis chant a powerful spell as this is one of the forbidden spells that even Minna - The Mysterious One, the strongest wizard second most powerful person next to Lucas afraid of. Because this spell required an insane amount of mana and if you weren't able to meet its requirement the spell will backfire and the one who will be killed is the caster itself. Minna was proud while she mentioned this spell quite a few times since it's actually one of her greatest and strongest creations, yet it disappoints her at the same time because she never ever uses it.

"Detys! What's going on, what's happening to you?" Lucas looks towards Detys who continuously bleeding in both her eyes as she shouted.

"I'm saving you! I don't want you to die here in this place, that's why I'm using my 'Granted Power'" Detys said as she continuously chant the spell.

"STOP! Please. I don't want to see you like this, let me go and let us fight against this monster once and fo-." Lucas said but he was quickly interrupted mid-sentence by Memphis.

"WAKE UP LUCAS! Face the reality and you don't have the power to fight back, I've exhausted most of my powers and can only rely on my Innate Talent right now by sacrificing my body!" Memphis voices her thoughts while gathering the mana in front of her.

"Sorry, Lucas. But right now this is all I can do to help you out." Detys said as she finished up the spell and all the symbols on Lucas's body lit up on golden lights after a moment multiple kinds of colors appear seemingly trying to pull Lucas's body into an unknown place.

"What's happening, Detys! Stop this!" Lucas shouted.

"I'm really sorry, Lucas. But I'm so glad that I was able to meet you even in these disastrous times. I really hope that we can have more time with each other." Tears continuously fall at Detys face as she quickly grabs Lucas's arm, right after that her lips fell into Lucas.

Detys face was full of tears as he reminisce all the happy and sad memory she have with Celestials. She was with them for many years she was able to meet all 9 Celestial Human Beings in their early phase, but because of their good heart even after learning that Detys is one of the Pillar. They trusted her. Detys on that time betray her 'Lord' she was able to use one of the Portals available and quickly sets off into the distance to escape from the other Pillars. It all happened one day when she realizes that everything that Pillars do is meaningless and the deaths of humanities are only for entertainment, she was born before the invasion of the universe of humans, that's why she didn't grasp and understand their true intention for this Invasion. But while watching the human in she was able to feel an emotion that she had never experienced.

Sorrow, happiness, enjoyment, etc. Detys has her own way to monitor humanity across the galaxy and she watches human help each other, loves each other, laughs together. Even in the face of the extinction of their own species they can still laugh and enjoy their time with their friends and family. She then notices 9 human individuals that exert powers greater than the other.

She watches them for days, months, and years. But she felt another emotion in his heart and that's love, she fell in love with Lucas. With his bravery, kindness, hardship, she notice that this man never complained even if he was struggling in numerous battles he continue to continue and fight the enemy, Lucas has an unbelievable charm towards others and she was also affected by that, at that time she decided to meet them and help them if possible. She knows the danger as he was one of the Pillar. That's why she hid the fact that she was one of the 49 Pillars but of course, it was later found out but they still decided to accept her as one of their own.

"I love you, Lucas. Thank you for everything." Detys said as her hand fell as well as her body on the ground.

"No! What happened to her Memphis, Help him!" Lucas shouts full of tears as he shouted to Memphis.

"I can't, It's not that I don't want to but Detys spell cost is her own life force, she's still fine but she will be put in a coma and later she will die. It's called "Time Reversal" It's a spell that allows you to come back at a specific time, Detys first notice his power awaken when he accidentally uses his power on a broken vase, in just a few seconds it was 'repaired' or I should say reveres back to its previous state. This didn't cost him her life force but it has a huge effect on her mentality. and stamina." Memphis said while stabilizing the spell on his hand to complete its process. She follows:

"You're humanity's one and only chance, Lucas. Detys cast an ancient spell to reverse the TIme and send you on your previous timeline before any of this happened, but we're not sure about the side effect. Please the whole of humanity is relying on you. Detys as well." Memphis said while the Mana she's gathering fluctuates she quickly raises his hand and shouted a chant to finish the spell.

"EXECUTE!" Memphis shouts on top of her lungs as the deep red Mana she gathered in front of him the mana wildly waves showing that it's about to explode.

"If you meet me in your next life, make sure to invite me for a drink." Memphis said as she smile, with a face full of dirt, burn, cuts, but it cannot hide the fact that Memphis was a truly beautiful lady.

"..." Lucas was stunned to speak, he knows that he can't do anything right now as he doesn't have any energy or mana at the moment, even if he struggles with the spell surrounding him it greatly prevents him from escaping or moving. At this point, he nodded at Memphis.

Memphis saw his head nod and focused on releasing the spell on her hand. Lucas was full of regrets as he witness the deaths of his friend and loved one. He knows that being a leader is very difficult and he didn't want to become one in the first place. But due to his Power, kindness, and Bravery. Not only his friends but Humanity synonymously decided that he's the leader of Celestials.

Lucas look ahead and saw the Pillars and their minion struggling to move and escape far away from Memphis's power, it made sense because of the unbelievable and terrifying power it carries. He then looks at Detys on the ground lying quietly.

"I should've made myself stronger so that his nightmare wouldn't happen, but I became complacent and let this tragedy happens. I swear. I SWEAR ON MY NAME AND TITLE, THAT I. LUCAS - THE ETERNAL WILL COME BACK AND ANNIHILATE EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU, INCLUDING YOUR 'LORD'. REMEMBER THAT!!" Lucas said as he shouted full of grievance, sadness, resentful on top of his lungs. Before he continues to yell, Memphis has already finished up the spell and launched it toward the remaining Pillars.

By the time the spell arrives, the symbol on Lucas's body glimmered and shine brightly before he disappear on sight. As for Detys, Memphis, and the Pillars. They died due to Memphis spells along with the planet. The power of the mana that Memphis releases are much greater than any of them imagine. It not only annihilates the remaining 10 Pillars, but it also affects the planet itself, because of the impact it cause it forces the planet to move out of its course on its solar system leading it to become a planet wandering the space without a destination, while it slowly crumble and later the planet exploded with nothing remains.

- Unknown Amount of Time Later -

On a certain planet, a boy at the age of 20 wakes and sits right up on top of his bed, he quickly notices that he's in an unfamiliar room and suddenly a huge amount of pain in his head. He then remembers what happens and tears quickly form in his eyes, he sobs greatly as he felt great pain and sadness. After a while, he calmed down and look around him.

"It's been a long time since I've come into a planet this peaceful. It's hard to imagine that I've returned to the past, but is this actually worth your sacrifice, am I worthy of your sacrifice?" Lucas said as he looks at both his hands. He knows what he did and why he did it, Lucas being a Celestial is already common, he killed countless monsters and numerous Pillar on his own hands but he also killed many people in the process. The people who choose to side with the Pillars betrayed humanity's exchange of powers and safety. Many people did that and most of their numbers died in Lucas's hands.

He looks across his window while reminiscing the beautiful yet tragic past of his previous lifetime.

"Now that I'm back I'll make sure that your sacrifice is worth and whatever happens I'll find you and I'll never let you sacrifice your life for me again. I'll become stronger than before, I'll kill anyone who blocked my path." Lucas said to himself as he fiercely stares at the sky, with a new goal in mind he's resolute that this time his power will surpass the previous him.
