Fighting Xersacran, the DeathLord

Yet to 49 Pillars they didn't expect that Humanity will last this long, they were the first species in existence that was able to resist many of their invasion. But Instead of celebrating, humans continue to fight and defend against the pillar and save the remaining human as much as possible.

Because of the constant invasions day after day, the most critical parts are the lives that have been lost during the battle and invasion. In the most recent calculation, the remaining humans all over the galaxy are now around 40 Billion. The invasion did devastating damage to their universe that it killed at least 80% to 70% of the human population. In the past, their population is steadily growing and it reaches a stable 570 Billion across the universe. Now they're afraid that if this continued their species will be guaranteed to be extinct in just a year or so.

But suddenly, It was like fate itself heard the plead of humanity and gave them another chance to fight back. some people of the human population receive a so-called "Innate Talent" and by utilizing these new profound powers they were able to fight again the invasion and avoid a huge margin of meaningless deaths.

Most people were able to get an Innate Talent for weapon mastery, some gained power for self-regeneration, others can turn part of their body to stone, others can control the wind, earth, or fire itself, and many other unique powers have been granted to humans beyond their imagination. They also receive a System where they can see and monitor the attribute of their body.

Due to the new power they receive, the tables have been turned, humanity was able to fight against the invasion and win a majority of them as well, leading to a great search of remaining humanity on the galaxy and rescue them as soon as possible.

But once again peace didn't last long and the 49 Pillars itself started to move. The 49 pillars were very surprised about the power that humans have. They thought that this new power cannot be handled by puny humans and they didn't feel threatened about this. But now that they experience the powers these humans have they felt fear for the first time.

The new profound power also births 9 people with exceptional abilities. They were called 'The Celestial Human beings'. They are so strong that they were able to win multiple invasions. Their power was used for the good of humanity, yet still with that power 9 of them can only kill 3 of the 49 Pillars throughout the year.

The 9 Celestial fought countless battles together for years and years to come, but even having immense power they're still human, to begin with, and the longer they fought together the remaining celestial was down to 3 and due to the destruction of most planets and the death of its people only 10 Million Human remains.

Even though there are only 3 celestial beings defending humanity, their power is far stronger than before. Throughout the years they killed most of the Pillars, they also hunted down the creature that invades their planet.

Yet in one faithful day, the dragon Xersacran finally invaded them personally to end the glory of the remaining Celestials.

"You 3 celestials. Has been a pain in the head. Even though we've killed the other celestials you three persist to survive huh, 'Lucas - The Eternal', 'Memphis - Protector Of The Weak', and you! 'Zikod - Champion Of The Black'" Xersacran said then he look at the other figure beside Lucas.

"You fucking bitch! You truly a wretch and a fucking traitor for siding with the humans, Detys!" Xersacran said in a vicious tone.

"Nonsense! Betraying all of you is the most reasonable thing to do! Ever since I was born I hated you and everyone for trying to kill countless innocent living beings just for the Lord's entertainment," Detys replied.

"Lord's Entertainment? Oh yes, I remember you were born the last and you're also the weakest, that's why you can't see the biggest picture of why we're invading the universe. Well, now that you're on the other side as your eldest I'll more than happy to kill your right away!" Xersacran said.

"Who kills who? Do you think that our powers are the same as back then? Thanks to you I was able to realize my shortcomings. We've sacrificed too much on this invasion, let's just end this once and for all." Lucas said as he pull up the great sword at the back of his, and Zikod smiled as he lift over the war hammer.

"Stay close, don't die, I'll provide you support as much as I can." Memphis reassured.

"Let me help as well," Detys said.

"You're not much of help right now Detys, you can't still control your power. But remember what we've talked to it's our only chance." Memphis said to her.

"Let's go!" Lucas said as he chant an unknown spell then suddenly his great sword has been wrapped around by a golden lining and well as his body similar to an armor protecting almost every corner of his body.

"Come!! DIVINE ASTRAL BODY!!" Zikod said following a deepening roar coming from his lungs, like a beast showing its domination. A faint shadow of astral dragon image appears at Zikod. Right after that, a red glowing aura can be seen shrouding Zikod and all his muscles expanded, a black tattoo slowly creeping around his arms, neck, and body. He soon rushed forward.

"Tch. Image of acient astral dragon. Magnificent! This will be fun" Xersacran said as he lift his head up high while manipulating the mana concentrating it onto his mouth, he was ready to release a voidless breath.

"Flesh Shields! Sigil of Absorption! Skill Deflection! Sacred Quality!" Memphis quickly chants and grants Lucas and Zikod multiple buffs she also provided a protective shield to 4 of them, including Detys.

The fight lasted for days, the terrain is no longer as it used to be as many craters formed throughout the battle and if the battle continues for a long time it will be the Celestial disadvantage. But the effort of their group wasn't wasted as they were able to cut off one Xersacran wing. As well as deeply wounding him all over the parts of his body, but in exchange, Zikod died during the battle.

After Lucas cut off Xersacran's wings, Xersacran felt excruciating pain for the first time, but with numerous battle experiences he uses this opportunity to chant another breath towards Lucas while he was caught off guard and while he's mid-air, but before anything of this happened Zikod already predicted this and prepared himself to sacrifice.

"I was happy to have a brother like you, even though we're not blood-related you're the only person I can rely on. Please finish our job." Zikod said as he push Lucas Mid air, he laugh while receiving the breath. Zikod Innate Talent is no longer activated that's why he was killed by Xersacran breath, he was defenseless again the breath and took it with his own mortal body.

"NOOOOO!!!" Lucas felt that he was still weak that he can't even save one of his companions. With deep hatred, Lucas activates his Innate Talent once again to its limit. Shrouding his whole body he rushes over to Xersacran, in an instant he arrives in its front and slashes over its neck.

"ROOOOOOOARRR!!!!" With a deep wound on its neck dark blood gushes over as his huge body crash on the ground. After using his Innate Talent to its limit he suddenly felt all his strength was gone, he falls into his knee but before he crashes to the ground. Detys rushes over and catches Lucas.

"You sure are fast, how are you. Are you alright?" Lucas weakly said with his eye half-open.

"I am, I'm fine just rest okay? Everything will be alright, Memphis and I are here for you." Detys said while droplets of water fell over his cheeks.

"Lucas, where are you hurt, let me heal you." Memphis said as she runs over to Lucas crying.

"Why are you both crying? I'm fine, just exhausted of energy that's all." Lucas said.

"I know you're sad, Lucas, you're always like this. I've never seen you cry in my entire life. But being sad is okay as well, it's not a weakness." Memphis said, yet she weirdly felt that the mana around them is gathering in one direction and that's Xersacran direction.

"Ha. Haha... Hahaha... Amazing this is what defeat felt like. I truly commend your Celestials. You guys are amazing, but with that kind of power, it's not enough to face our lord, and remember the 49 Pillars are not the end it is the start. HAHAHA. For the last time witness the power of Xersacran, the DeathLord" Xersacran said as he chant another mysterious magic, then his body start to glow.

By ready the Mana around her, she notices something is wrong after a moment. "Oh no, he's trying to blow up his body by gathering an insane amount of mana." Memphis then moves his body in between Lucas and Xersacran. Then she quickly surrounds Lucas and Detys with multiple layers of shields including herself.

"Brace yourself." Memphis said as a huge explosion occurred obliterating hundred of thousand of meters, the good thing is that there are no humans around since they we're actually in a hunt on different planet.
