Advancing the World

After sending his clone away, Lin Dao had watched the energy in the core of the world reach its peak which made him confused, since he had been trying to advance the world for over billions of years already. How could his clone leaving for a few thousand years have to do with this?

Advancing to a Middle World is harder for him than the other worlds because he has the soul of a human instead of a world. For worlds, advancing to a Medium World, it is usually like an instinct but him having a human soul, how could he have the instinct to advance an entire world? Plus, one requirement of a Middle World is to have lifeforms as the world absorbs the residual soul energy from the life forms to create a consciousness. Another requirement is to create the path the world will take.

Path is a direction a world had decide to lead it's inhabitants towards, it could be anything, even cultuvation, however the price is that depending on the path, the price one will pay is frightening. Take Earth, for example, the planet has taken the technological path of science, which basically takes little to no energy directly from itself to sustain as it absorbs energy from space to cancel out the absorption.

Lin Dao was happy that even though he sent a clone away, it wasn't the clone that wielded the Law of Creation but instead the one that wielded the Law of Destruction, otherwise, he would miss a prime opportunity to advance.

Floating above the chaotic energy inside the crystal house, Lin Dao point at his forehead, causing one of the stars, the one that was the Law of Creation to fall off and merge into the chaotic energy seamlessly.

As the Star of Creation-merges into the chaotic energy, Desolate World trembles as if excited, causing mountains and rivers upon it to shatter or change their course.

As the mountains and rivers shatter, mysterious energy appeared and fix them back in place, before creating valleys, seas, the seasons and powerful treasures.

Lin Dao close his eyes, sensing the changes in the world, realizing that the world had not only created new things, but it had also expanded reaching around the same size as Earth. However, Lin Dao had great ambitions, as he wanted to have a world that didn't appear since the dawn of time, one that even surpasses the Cultivation World, thus he gritted his teeth and let the other seven stars fall of

each representing a different law, Life, Death, Space, Water, Earth, Fire, Wind. Each of these stars represents all the power he had gained over the course of his new life, a single mistake could mean his path and future would be slow if not halted completely.

As all the stars fall into the chaotic energy, they merge into it seamlessly as if they came from the same source. As each law star merges into the chaotic energy, amazing changes are happening over the surface of the world.

As the Star of Life merges into the chaotic energy, powerful life energy erupt from the center of the world before reaching every corner of it. As the Star of Life erupted, life energy shrouded the world making the dark and thundering skies parted and dissipated into nothing, as the skies became clear for the first time since the world's creation.

After the Star of Life, the Star of Death erupted in a similar manner as it caused all the world to turn gloomy and depressing again. However, the Star of Death was only able to affect the world for a second, before the Star of Life and Star of Creation counter it and suppress it the point of it hardly able to do anything. Seemingly aware of its failure, the Star of Death hid away, while still being there but not visible.

Next, the Star of Space causes the world to increase its size further and fortifying the space of the world to become indestructible, making it so that not even Heavenly Cultivators could fly in the sky.

The Star of Water causes the water of the world to surge and increase the size of rivers and seas, before even creating an ocean that surrounds the only continent on the Desolate World, Desolate Continent.

The Star of the Earth causes the earth of Desolate World to become as firm as iron as nothing could damage it. The earth started to produce treasures from inside its depths and pushing them to the surface.

The Star of Fire causes volcanos to rise from the ground and cause magma to spread across some piece of land, causing the place to become a fiery hell.

And finally, the Star of Wind causes the world to seem alive with breath as winds constantly sweep across the world in a dauntless manner. Hurricanes and tornados appeared all over the land.

LIn Dao opened his eyes and reveal a smile as he had created a peak world that had never appear before. Although his world was still a Middle level world, it had the powers of a Great world, especially its size and laws that we're close to perfect that it could support a massive amount of life, far surpassing Earth. The only that didn't make it a true Great World would be the fact that it didn't have infinite energy and a path towards greatness.

He looks at the empty crystal house that had become empty of all the chaotic energy that he had taken years to barely full and signed. This is the price one must pay if they want the world to advance, a massive amount of energy.

Now that he had completed the first part of his advancement, he was ready to begin the second part, life creation. Lin Dao was not sure of what to create at first, because he wanted to create races that have never existed before, because only these creatures could help him in the future when he challenges stronger worlds and cultivators.

However, the problem is that the Cultivation World had created everything in the universe, including the species of the world, humans included. That's to say that the Cultivation World had a slight amount of control over everything on a spiritual level.

He as a World God had broken free from such control the moment he was born, that is why he plans to create new races that he could have full control of, but the problem is that the Cultivation World had created all the races already, Demon, God, Humans and other races stemming down form them, creating new races.

Of course, Lin Dao had an idea of what creatures to create. What better choice than create the races humans had fantasies existing, such a Vampires, Werewolves, Goblins and other such creatures? The Cultivation World may have created all current races, including humans, but it didn't create these creatures because they are unique to the minds of the humans on Earth. Even when he travels to some Divine or Immortals realms, he had never seen or heard of these races before, he had seen races that closely resemble them but that didn't make them one of these races.

This could be said to be an unintentional lucky chance that he had received when he was born a human. If not, he would never think of such races, since he would never have known of them in the first place.

Thinking for a while, he decided to create one of these race, because he only has so much energy remaining inside the house. However, which race should he create?
