Chapter four : gaining her trust

Today she decide to keep taps on Robert. she followed the guy and find out that he works with his dad in his company, it looks like the dad is grooming the son to take over his company after him.

Looking on her chart which has the photos of the Rudolph family and her plan on it. Looking at her next plan which states that she ought to gain their trust and who is more gullible to fool than Mrs Rudolph? It's going to be a piece of cake.

She step out of her house ready to follow and and Trap Mrs Rudolph. The lady was doing her every morning routine. Alicia called a friend of hers " hello Jack"

"hello" jack replied

"I need you yo do me a favor"

"what do you want"

"I want you to wait down the alley in the street a few blocks from my apartment. A lady wearing ash jugging pants and a pink sports bra paired with black shoes will pass down there in about fifteen minutes. I want you to rob her and I'll save her. You know I'll be the hero of the day"

" is that you want milady"

" ya that's all"

"consider it done. see you in fifteen" after saying that he hang up.

" let's begin" Alicia murmured to herself. She followed the lady and just as plan in fifteen minutes time she was beside the alley. Jack jump out of his hiding place and pointed his gun at Mrs. Rudolph " give me all you have or else I shoot" he said with his mask on his face it was difficult to see the face. Alicia stood at a corner watching and enjoying the act.

" i... I... don't ha..ve cash on m.. me" she stuttered.

" wow jack your scaring the shit out of her now" Alicia said only for her to hear. " oh look at that it's my time to join the show" she walk up to them with a stick in her hands, her grip on it firm and her hand shaking like she is scared. " dr... drop your weapon" she was shaking and she stuttered. " your holding a stick and I am holding a gun girl. So you better shut up and join her." Alicia acted like she was examining the gun before she said " your gun is fake" and she wink at Jack who took it as his cue. The lady behind didn't see her wink and she can't see the smile on her face. " go away or I will hit you" she said ' my my milady is such a good actress' jack thought before scudding away.

" are you okay" Alicia ask the lady who looks like a scared chicken. " yeah am... fine. Thank you for saving me, am so grateful" she thank the master planner. " it's okay mam, I was just helping"

" how did you know that the gun was fake"

" my dad use to work in the military and he taught me some few thinks about guns and stuff" she said lying through her teeth

" use to??" the lady ask

" his of late, he died when he was on a mission" she said sounding all sad.

" oh that's sad, how can I help you dear? ask me anything and I'll do it for you" she offered

" i... I don't want anything mam"

" no I insist ask for anything" she insisted

" OK mam, I only want a job. Any job even as a maid I don't mind, i can clean and cook very well"

"okay then, give me your number and I'll call you"

They exchange numbers and separated. Alicia smirk and laugh a victorious laugh. " so gullible".

The very next day, Alicia called Mrs. Vanessa and she was giving a job to work as a maid for the Rudolph. She is currently on her way to the house, Vanessa had sent her driver to pick her up. Alicia closed her eyes letting the breeze fan her face as the window was down 'am coming Antonio, you better be prepared for me.' she smiled devilishly, the driver gave her a funny look which she ignored.

"Good morning ma'am," Alicia greets the woman who has been waiting for her.

"morning dear, you know I forgot to ask your name yesterday, what is your name?"

"Alicia, am called Alicia ma'am" Vanessa nods her, she stare at the girl who looks like someone she knows but it can't be her, the Alicia she knows is nowhere to be found, she thought unknown to the fact that it is the very same Alicia standing before looking like an angel meanwhile she is the devil's reincarnated.

"you will meet everyone later in the evening, but for now let Amanda show you around and she will give you your uniform." She look at her expensive watch "oh am late for work, good bye dear see you in the evening, Amanda take care of her." Amanda who has been quietly standing beside Vanessa nod her head.

Amanda take in Alicia's physical appearance, if she say she is not jealous then she is a big liar. Alicia has the shape of a model, her long legs were hidden in her trouser, Amanda's eyes trail to her face, she look at her plum lips which were pink, her perfect nose, her brown eyes like coffee, her face not too pointed, her perfectly shaped eyebrows.

Alicia smirks while looking at her, she can see the jealousy in her eyes. "let's go." Amanda said after she was done assessing her body.

Amanda showed her round the house, she gave her rules to follow. Alicia look at the room she is supposed to sleep in, it was the servants quarter. The room is not too big but it is okay, she spots the three beds which means three of them are to sleep inside this room, the beds can only fit one person each.

The time of evening arrived, Alicia dressed in a maid's uniform which consist of a black dress which stopped above the knee and his open, with a pair of socks which reaches the knees and a pair of black shoes, stood in the kitchen with Amanda and one other girl who's name she learned is Hope.

Alicia watch as Hope and Amanda make dinner, she will lend them hand when they needed it, today she is not supposed to work but observe. Not too long Everyone was settled at the dinning table, everyone meaning Vanessa, Robert and Antonio.

Alicia helped in setting the table, she could feel the gaze of the two males who are sitting on table. "um darling," she heard Vanessa's voice "this is Alicia the girl I told you about, she was the one who helped me when I was attacked by the tug yesterday." She introduced the girl who had her head low not showing her eyes as a sign of respect. "your welcome young girl, thank you for helping my wife." she heard the voice of Antonio, she felt like killing him this moment but she resist the urge.

Her revenge is on motion, 'you just welcomed the devil into your home' she said to herself.
