"Pass me the rose water," I asked Ali who had been busy setting up everything we needed. I had brought with me a big bowl in which we would have to mix what was needed. Ali picked up the bottle of rose water as I asked, and then passed it on to me with a playful throw.

It was a good thing I was fast enough, and I was able to catch the bottle before it could speed past my open hands. I twisted the cap, and then proceeded to pour everything in the bowl while I continued to chant a few verses from Thelia's spell book.

Now that I think of it, the tiny book that she had lent me could pass as what people would normally call a grimoire. It was a collection of this and that, spells for daily convenience, easy and hard spells. There were even a few pages dedicated to a few recipes for magical foods.
