129 Fickle Deities

I didn't even notice I had actually walked out into the back garden of Ali's home. I looked around, and thought Becky might have taken her little walk here. She wasn't, and I assumed maybe she took to the other side of the house.

The summer blooms were slowly opening as the sun rose and shone down on them. The place I stood at was peaceful, but my heart and mind were the opposite – it was at war.

My mind kept on telling me that Bash was William through and through, and that what has happened in the past has a way of repeating itself. Eventually, Bash will put me down just as William had.

But then my heart counters what my mind is convincing me to believe.

Sometimes I just wish Bash remembered his past life too so we could get some type of closure. I wouldn't feel guilty at all for fully lashing out my hurt on him. And he would be able to tell me first hand his reason – even if I might still end up hating him no matter what he says.
