25 The Death Elixir - Part 1

As earlier mentioned, the rank of an angel is determined in a unique way.

They are given specific stars according to their ranks so basically an S rank angel with a highest star was considered to be a national level angel.

1 star S rank was without a doubt weaker than 2 star E rank, but there was not any significant difference in strength because ability also played an important factor in it.

"Damn, that wasted a lot of my time...", Jay sighed as he walked away from the test center.

It seemed as if he was quite annoyed and wanted to go and tell the doctor about this who gave him some information earlier.

'Well, I don't think it will be wise to mingle with these puny humans...', he thought in his mind and turned himself and walked in some other direction.

Last time he had went out of his way and reached a temple, while this time he walked towards a graveyard.

Since a lot of time had passed, it was soon going to be night.

Despite that, Jay was unfazed when he reached the graveyard which was considered to be cursed.

Just the name of the place was more than enough to scare most of the people, but it seemed like a joke in front of Jay.

It was as if he didn't even mind about that.

'I wonder if it is here...', he said to himself.

He could feel a large amount of energy from the area which was without a doubt evil, but for him it was nothing more than something pure.

His eyes were emitting a red shine while he took a look at the graveyard.

Without a doubt it was creepy, but by seeing that Jay just smirked and kept on walking around the area as if he was searching something.

"I thought about taking it later, but it seems like I would need it much earlier than expected!", he said.

"Hmm, now then... where was it again?", he looked here and there but couldn't find anything.

The evil energy was so much that even he himself couldn't feel the aura of the item that he was trying to search for.

"..."

He patiently searched for more than 5 minutes but it seemed like that was his limit.

"Damn, it's so frustrating...", he said in a low voice.

He again turned his gazes and noticed the surrounding as if he was checking if anyone was nearby.

"No one..."

"That's good...", he smirked.

He then lowered his gazes and stared at he ground with dead eyes.

He then suddenly pulled his right arm all the way back and then punched the ground using a large amount of his strength.

"..."

"..."

But nothing happened to the ground. In fact, there wasn't even a single scratch on it.

Though, it appeared like that only for moment because 2 seconds after he punched, the whole land which covered the graveyard, cracked completely while emitting a reddish-black light!

'BOOM'

A loud noise was also caused and the cracks that formed didn't cease to widen for at least some seconds.

Jay didn't have any use for the cracks, all that he wanted was an item which got flung in the air probably because of the great force with which Jay punched the ground.

"There you are..."

He extended his right hand and grabbed the item that came flying from the grounds as of someone had tossed it from the below.

He ten opened his closed palm a but and then took a look at the item that he was holding.

It was nothing other than a small glass bottle which was no bigger than a small 50 ml bottle of a hand sanitizer.

It had a rounded bottom while a stop cork closed it's opened end.

It was indeed made up of glass which was lustrous and was shining despite the fact that it had been buried in the ground since ages.

The bottle wasn't actually empty. Inside it there was a black colored liquid which emitted no light or shine.

It did resemble the potions or other elixirs but at the same time it was different.

"I finally found you...", Jay grinned when he looked at the bottle.

"The death elixir..."

"Let's see if your powers are the same as earlier...", he smiled and the opened the stop cork or lid that was covering it.

Almost instantly he ended up drinking the entire elixir that was inside it without even a shred of hesitation.

It was as if he knew what it's function was. Moreover, it seemed as if he exactly remembered his location as if he was the one who placed it here.

'Gulp Gulp'

There was a very little amount of elixir which he finished instantly.

"Ugh!"

Suddenly he started to feel a weird burning sensation from his insides.

It was as if there his internals were in fire. The amount of pain that was caused was immeasurable.

'Damn... this is...', he could hardly even believe the potency of the elixir.

'Tsk, am I an idiot?'

'How did I forget that... I was inside a human's body?', he asked himself.

"Arghhh!!!", he shouted at the top of his voice which was more than enough to be heard by the people who passed by the road nearby or the people who stayed in homes that wasn't far away from here.

All those people had already come out of their houses to see what had happened but due to the lack of light and since it was night time, they couldn't see anything clearly.

But now when they heard the scream again, all of them ran outside of their houses without a second thought as if they wanted to see what had happened!

Jay kept screaming while grabbing his head.

"Are you..."

All of a sudden Jay felt a presence that was behind him. The voice was also heard from the same direction due to which he turned his head only to find an officer standing there with a torch.

"Argh!", he almost immediately ran away from the spot as if he didn't want to see anyone right now.

"W-wait! Mister!"

"..."
