5 5. What is love?

A beautiful girl sits on a chair by the glass window of a famous restaurant. Occasionally the girl looked in the mirror to make sure that her makeup was not bad or messy.

Yes, it is Adelia who is waiting for Dilan to have lunch together.

after a long time, the girl waited alone, Dilan came and sat in the empty seat in front of Adelia without greeting her.

Adelia smiled and tried to remain calm. She neutralized her erratic heartbeat because it was the first time she was alone with Dilan.

"Would you like to order something?" Adelia asked, starting the conversation.

"No. I'm here just because of my father's orders to accompany you to lunch. You just eat. I have no appetite," said Dilan and reached for the phone in his pocket.

Adelia sighed heavily hearing Dilan's unpleasant response.

"I'm sorry," Adelia whispered.

Dilan raised his head to see Adelia who suddenly apologized to him.

"Why? Did you do wrong to me?" asked Dylan coldly.

"I don't know. But, from your cold attitude towards me, it seems that I have something wrong with you," Adelia replied, looking down.

"Nothing. You have not done anything wrong to me," said Dilan.

Dylan put his phone back in. Now his attention was focused on Adelia who was bowed in front of him.

"But, you're guilty of yourself," continued Dilan.

Now Adelia looked up at Dilan sadly. Her beautiful bead is sparkling.

"What's wrong with me, Dilan, I love you..." Adelia said hoarsely.

Dilan just smiled lopsidedly in response to Adelia's question.

"Don't do that. Your love will only hurt yourself," said Dilan without caring about Adelia's feelings.

"Why are you so cruel to me? Am I different from Davina? Why can't you forget it? She's already married to someone else!"

Brakkkk...

Dilan's hand spontaneously pounded the dining table, causing Adelia to gasp in surprise. Dilan's index finger was right in front of Adelia's beautiful face.

"You and Davina will never be the same in any way. You have to remember that!" Dylan said with full emphasis.

"Why not? Just because she came into your heart first, doesn't mean she will always be in your heart!" Adelia said raising her voice.

Dilan lowered his hands and clenched his fists tightly.

"What do you know about my feelings? What is the right you have to say something like this to me?" Dilan said at the peak of his anger.

"There are no rights. But, I will make sure that you can never run away from reality. the fact that you and Davina can never be together. For now, and forever." Adelia said firmly. The girl stood up and grabbed her bag. She did not wait for a response from Dilan again and immediately left the restaurant.

Dilan was still silent and clenched his fists tighter. He did not accept the words that were thrown by Adelia.

"This is all because of Revan Maheswara!" said Dilan firmly.

***

Revan was busy flipping through the files in front of him. his head was throbbing with so much work that had piled up lately that he couldn't relax even though he had just gotten married.

The door of the room opened and revealed a tall young man with a distinctive smile that looked annoying to Revan.

Felix, Revan's comrade in arms now serves as a manager in his company.

"Can you knock on the door before entering? Where are your manners?" Revan grumbled who realized Felix had just entered his room.

"Huh, don't be angry! you'll get old soon if you get angry easily," said Felix who casually sat on the couch.

"What do you need? Aren't you working? Why do you look so relaxed?" Revan said repeatedly.

"I'm just wondering about you. You just got married, why don't you take some time off? Maybe honeymoon..." Felix turned to ask Revan.

"How can I take leave? My work just piles up too much. Besides, what's so special about getting married? Just changing status, right? Nothing special," said Revan casually.

Felix stood up and approached Revan. He sat on Revan's desk and looked at his with his sharp eyes.

A moment later, Revan sighed because he felt uncomfortable being watched by Felix like that. He felt intimidated.

"What are you doing? Don't make me feel uncomfortable. Go back to your room!" Revan said, was annoyed by Felix's behavior.

"What happened? Getting married is the most special thing in a person's life. Why are you saying there's nothing special?" Felix asked in surprise.

"That is if you marry someone you love. Did I marry Davina for love? Of course not," said Revan.

Felix shook his head in amazement. "You are a psychopath of feelings!" he said.

"I don't need love, and that girl is lucky enough to marry an established man like me."

Now Felix is even more surprised by his best friend. How could his best friend say something like this so casually? Didn't he remember that Davina also had an ex-girlfriend of a chief director?

"Then what about Dilan? Did you forget Davina's status before marrying you?" Felix asked who had lost with his anger.

Now Revan stopped the activity of checking his work files. His attention turned back to Felix.

his hands intertwined, then he used to support his chin.

"Dilan's family doesn't like Davina. Even if Dilan insists on marrying Davina, she won't get anything," Revan sarcastically smiled lopsidedly.

Felix had his arms crossed and looked at Revan with a sad look.

"I feel sorry for you. Because you are busy working from a young age, you don't even understand love at all," Felix said.

"What do you mean? Are you saying that I'm a heartless human anymore?" Revan snapped annoyed.

"It's not like that," said Felix.

Revan furrowed his brows in confusion. Meanwhile, Felix smiled.

"If Davina and Dilan get married, at least they are happy because they both feel happy together. They get married because they both have feelings of love. but, what about you?" Felix explained.

Hearing Felix's explanation made Revan chuckle amused.

"Why do you care about feelings of love? After all, if Dilan has nothing, can Davina be happy?" Revan said, didn't want to lose.

Felix's head began to throb because he couldn't understand Revan's thoughts. He had to think hard if he wanted to explain the importance of a feeling to a man named Revan Maheswara.

"You have to think about other people's feelings from time to time, at least if you can't give love to your wife, you don't hurt her feelings. Do you understand?" Felix said.

Felix has given up on explaining the importance of having feelings for Revan. while Revan just put on a flat face and nodded his head in compliance.

Understandably, Revan has never felt love because he has been blinded by his revenge on the Arsenio family.

He only thought was how to make Arsenio's family suffer and make Bian Arsenio regret that he had abandoned him and his mother.
