3 3. Marriage

Three days passed fast. Today is Davina's wedding day with Revan. The man she had met for the first time three days ago and she did not love him at all.

Don't talk about love, Davina just doesn't know what to do. however, she was too afraid to refuse this matchmaking. In addition to having to return the favor to her uncle's family, she also hopes that after this marriage she will get the happiness she hopes for.

On the day that should be the happiest for a bride, Davina feels that her wedding day is the saddest in her life in the world.

How come? the girl also wants to marry someone she loves, besides that she also wants to feel how it feels to be brought down the aisle by her biological parents.

However, it was all just a dream for Davina. She is quite self-aware and should always feel grateful that someone is willing to accept her sincerely.

Ah, no. She doesn't know what will happen in the future. Either Revan will accept it sincerely or just make her a tool for revenge.

"Don't make trouble and keep your behavior," Sarah said to Davina who had just finished her makeup.

Davina nodded her head obediently. "Yes, Auntie," she said.

"Good. At least you're useful enough to get your uncle promoted."

Davina who heard that could only sigh and smile wryly. At least she already knew how her aunt's nature was long ago. So, she was never surprised to hear something like this.

Revan's family all attended the simple wedding ceremony. if you look at it, it is strange because Revan is a respected and famous CEO with his wealth that is not kidding.

However, Revan deliberately did not hold a wedding party because he did not want such a party to affect his plans for revenge.

Alina, Revan's Mother smiled seeing Davina who had just came out of her room. Although her son's marriage was very sudden, Alina already knew a lot about Davina's character and attitude.

The beautiful middle-aged woman knew that Davina was a kind and polite girl to anyone. This is what makes her agree if Revan is married with a very close time gap, even without proper preparation.

The event proceeded with wisdom. Davina now officially holds the status as the legal wife of Revan Maheswara.

Davina smiled and kissed Revan's hand gently. Likewise with Revan who kissed Davina's forehead attentively.

A few moments later, there was a commotion outside Davina's uncle's house. The commotion was caused by Dilan who came to Davina's simple wedding.

"Damn it. Let me in!" Dilan shouted from outside which was heard throughout the house.

Dilan was angry and was blocked by some of Revan's bodyguards for trying to break in.

With great difficulty, Dilan managed to get past the bodyguards and into the house to see the girl he loved the most was now officially someone else's wife.

"What are you doing, Dilan?" Davina asked in surprise when she saw Dilan, who was panting, burst into the house.

"Why are you so tough on me? Why did you leave me and marry someone else?" Dilan said, not caring about the crowds of people looking at him.

"I-I..."

"Cancel this marriage!" Cut Dilan quickly.

"I DON'T WANT YOU TO BELONG TO SOMEONE ELSE!" he shouted and echoed through the room.

Seeing the chaos, Johan immediately stood up from his seat and approached Dilan.

Plakk...

The hard slap landed on Dilan's cheek. Johan, who couldn't stand the sight of Dilan's behavior, dared to slap the handsome young man.

"Watch your attitude. Davina is officially married. You can't control her life anymore," Johan growled at Dilan.

"Why? What's wrong with my actions? Everyone knows that Davina only loves me. She can't possibly want to marry someone else this easily. Davina wants to marry because she was forced!" Dilan said with all his emotions.

Revan was about to stand up and approach Dilan. But he was held by his mother.

"Don't make a fuss," Alina whispered to her son.

Revan refuses to interfere in Dilan and Johan's problems. Now it was Davina who stood up and walked over to Dilan.

All attention is now turned to Dilan and Davina who are staring at each other.

"I'm sorry. I married not because of anyone's coercion. this is my own decision, Dilan..." Davina said with a fake smile.

"What did you say? Your own decision?" Dilan asked in disbelief.

Davina nodded her head. "Yes," she said firmly.

"Why are you being this hard on me? Do you not remember how I defended you?" Dilan said disapprovingly.

"I appreciate all the kindness you did to me. But, we don't have any relationship anymore, I hope you can also respect my decision," said Davina with a face full of seriousness.

Davina was just pretending to be tough. Meanwhile, her heart felt like it was shattered into pieces, remembering that she still loved Dilan very much.

but, after all, she could not force her own will. She had to stick to her stance to stay away from Dilan to maintain the relationship between Dilan and his family.

"You better get out of here. I don't want to see you again," Davina pleaded.

The beautiful girl who already had the status of a wife returned to her seat beside Revan. Meanwhile, Dilan was silent when he heard Davina's statement which was so shocking to him.

not waiting long, Johan ordered Revan's bodyguard to drag Dilan out of his house and not let him make a fuss again.

After Dilan left, the atmosphere calmed down again and Davina sank further into her sadness.

slowly, Alina reached out her hand to hold Davina's hand with care.

"Don't be afraid. I will always be with you," said Alina to her daughter-in-law.

Davina smiled faintly and nodded her head. Her hand gripped Alina's hand tightly and refused to let go.

Alina smiled at her daughter-in-law's actions. Apart from knowing how Davina's nature and attitude are, Alina also knows that Davina is Dilan's lover who is none other than her stepson.

Even though she knows that Revan married Davina for revenge, Alina accepts Davina as her daughter-in-law. She promised to love Davina as she loved her first daughter-in-law.

"Today you will return to Revan's house. Mammy will not leave you. for the next week, Mommy will continue to accompany you. Do you understand?" Alina asked Davina.

Again Davina nodded her head politely.

"Yes, mom..." Davina answered nervously.

Although she is still awkward calling other people "mommy", she is very happy because she finally got a mother-in-law who wants to respect her.

"Please... Give me happiness after this marriage..." Davina said in her heart full of hope.
