CHAPTER 4

" So you mean to tell me that he threatened you with the life of your sister," Kelly asked and Ariana nodded

After Kelly had consoled her, she told Kelly everything that had conspired between her and Zain, it was really touching that Kelly had to cry too for her

"Why don't you run away from him?, What are you still doing here?"Kelly asked with concern

"No matter how hard I try, no matter how I plead, no matter how hard I try to get away from him, the more he kept coming, it was as if he was monitoring my life, I can't even run away cause he kept people everywhere to look at me" Ariana explained

"So are you going to do the job for him" Ariana asked with concern

"I have no other option, my sister is the only family I love and I don't want to lose her, I will just kill him and come back," Ariana said

"It isn't easy Ariana, Can I suggest something for you"Kelly asked and she nodded

"Since I have known you, Ariana, you have been like a sister to me, I found myself In the orphanage and ran away just for freedom, and since then I have gotten close to you"Kelly explained

"How about we both go to the so-called person's house, If Zain drops you there you text me the address and I join you, We can lie to the person Zain wants you to kill that our parents were both killed by Zain and we would love to join him so we could revenge on Zain," Kelly said and Ariana was surprised

"Kelly, are you sure you want to leave with me?", Ariana asked and she nodded

"If you leave, I will have no other friend again, This world would be lonely, I would go with you if you permit me," Kelly said and smiled

" I would love you to come with me, but do you think the plan would work?"Ariana asked

"Am a hundred percent sure that it would work, we just have to act smart" Kelly said and immediately Ariana hugged her tightly

" I don't know what I would have done without you by my side Kelly, Thank you, "Ariana said as tears dropped from her eyes

"Don't do that Ariana, sh," Kelly said patting Ariana's back slowly

" You go home immediately pack up your things, and act like you don't want to leave in his presence okay," Kelly said she nodded and Left immediately

On reaching her house, Ariana opened the door to their room and saw her senior sister sleeping soundly on the bed, she worked up to her and sat by the side of the bed

"How I wish mom and dad were here, how I wish you could help me come out of this, Am tired Merry, Am tired, I don't know what to do anymore, Am going to miss you, if I don't do this they would take you away from me," Ariana said as she started crying again

Merry woke up when she heard the voice of her sister, she opened her eyes and looked into Ariana's eyes

"Are you leaving?" She asked Ariana, and Ariana shook her head

"Then why are you crying"Merry asked again

"Just wishing your body isn't steel, How I wish you could move your body freely", Ariana said

"Am sorry little is that I can't help you" Merry said as tears formed in her eyes

"It isn't your fault, Merry we are relocating, a friend of mine has asked us to live with him and am accepting, you don't have to worry"Ariana assured her sister and then she began packing Merry's clothes inside a bag

It was evening and Zain came to Ariana's house, he helped her carry Merry into his car while she dropped her luggage in the car, She was already shedding tears because she had left her sister for about three months now

"I don't want to talk to you in the car because of your sister, here is a watch that will be making me hear every single word you say, it can't be removed except with the key," Zain said and she nodded

"Remember, I told you three months, if not…."He said and walked to the car and she followed suit

Ariana read every single signboard so she could see the street she was in to avoid telling Kelly the wrong place. Zain stopped at a junction and looked at her

"His house is the biggest one down the stress, don't mess up my plan, Three months," He said and she nodded, she looked at her sister who was now sleeping and tears rolled down her cheek, Cleaning the tears she got down from the car and He zoomed off

She brought out her phone and texted Kelly

She texted and placed her phone back in her pocket waiting for Kelly

Ariana Waited for thirty minutes before she saw Kelly

"Ari…."

Ariana placed her index finger on her mouth signaling Kelly not to talk, she showed Kelly the wristwatch Zain had worn on her hands

She brought out her phone and wrote down everything before giving it to Kelly to Read, who quietly read it

Kelly brought out her phone too and wrote for Ariana

● "How do you expect us to work out"

● "I don't know, "Ariana wrote back 

● "Now we are forced to be dumb for no reason, "Kelly said

Ariana held herself from laughing. They both walked to the place Zain had told her to enter, the both of them sat down and began to bang the gate, when no response came, they sat down on the floor and began to cry, the cry was as loud as but no one came outside

Until a black car which was entering the house stopped and the window glass rewind, the figure in the car was looking at them deep inside the eyes. Meanwhile, used her hands to tight cover the speaker of the wristwatch in her hands to avoid Zain from hearing them
