Chapter 4

In the dark office, a man was sitting in the black comfy chair, crossing his leg lazily, his eyes were bloodshot and the temperature in the room was dropping as time goes by.

"Where is her info"Damian asked with a hoarse and chilly voice which sent shivers down the spine of his secretary Zac.

"here... here sir she has already been accepted according to your instructions". Zac being naturally a confident and stoic man couldn't help but shiver in Damian's presence ,of course he has been with Damian for years, he was personally trained by Damian himself. Seeing his quality,Damian had made his right hand man.

"mmm...you can go" his deep cello voice was heard. Zac quickly exit the room as he could no longer bear the suffocating aura. He preferred going to a naturally cold place than to stay with his terrifying boss. For years now, his boss has not lost his temper but after encountering 'her'

he had lost it.

Damian took out his phone and dailed a number.

"Hey bro you finally called..."

"get down here" Damian said interrupting whatever Xavier was going to say.

" hey you can't just ignore me for days and now boss me around".

"Xavier" Damian sent with a gritted teeth.

Immediately Xavier gulped subconsciously of course he doesn't talk to his brother like that normally, when facing him he was like a lamb but when he talks to him on phone though he still respects him he always try to tease him. But right now he could feel his brother suffocating aura from the phone which was a surprising thing his brother does not lost his temper. It has been years.

Xavier became suspicious but didn't say anything.

"ok ok am coming, you don't have to get angry" he quickly hung up and entered into his car.

Damian dropped his phone and massaged his temple. He took the info that Zac had brought and opened it, when he saw her passport, warmth flashed through his eyes as he caressed the photo.

"I finally found you... after so many years" when he saw her his stoic and hardened heart had increased so rapidly, he couldn't even believe that after many years of searching for her, she came to his company for work. He had really wanted to talk to her , wanted to ask her why she left him many years ago, why she snatched his heart and ran away with it.

The sudden entry of Xavier and his best friend Aiden brought Damian out of his daze. He closed the document and looked up.

"surprise.... I brought Aiden "

Damian frowned

"watsup man have been gone for just a week and you are having problems".

"am not having problems, I just need Xavier to do a little assignment for me". He threw the document across and Aiden caught it, he frowned in confusion and opened the document. When he saw the document he widened his eyes in surprise, Xavier peeked at the document and when he also saw the photo he was surprised.

"she came here... I mean to the company for an interview, after so many years I finally found her ". This time sadness and pain flashed through his eyes.
