1 Ordinary Experience

Imaginations are amazing.

They can make things that aren't real.... not real, well it's only your fantasy, of course, but thinking about it just excites you.

If you ask anyone, whether they want their imaginations to be true or not, then of course they would instantly say yes. That's natural, fantasy and dreams can be considered your hope.

Then, what happens if that really happen? Your imaginations, your fantasy that you've had, becoming real?

Then welcome to my story.

I guess I have to introduce myself. My name is sloth.. Just consider it my name since that's my nickname, well anyway, I'm 60 years old... wait, 100? uhh 300? No no, I'm pretty sure I'm well over 1000. Well that doesn't matter, I'm 60 years old at the moment anyway. So what I'm doing now is enjoying my life as it always is... ah that's not important, all you need to know is that I'm ordinary.

Or am I?

No of course not, I'm not ordinary. That's because.....

I can return to the past!

Am I happy? Well of course lol, like this is my fantasy since ever. You see, making a decision isn't really my forte so this skill is really all i need..

Oh man it's my 32nd time asking her out throughout my returns... oh well, I could just return to the past, hahaha..haha....ha, nah actually that broke my feelings.

Well, let's forget that and let me give you all a rundown of my abilities.

First of all, return!

This skill allowed me to return to the past, although only for a bit, for example.

*flick*

There I flicked my finger and..

*whoosh*

And now we're in the past!

"How dare you doze off with that lame face of yours? Seriously, im so fed up with you, I'm out!"

Yeah maybe I should stop monologuing while I'm talking with people... well I tried that, and it still resulted in this same scenario.

How many times have I returned you ask?

Hmm, if I count it from the start of an event then this would be the 33rd. But if it's from the very beginning, I'm afraid I also don't know, I might as well repeat the very same thing I did in one of my return, there's only so much a human brain can remember afterall.

Oh right, the second ability, it's the ability to revert time at a certain space and revert everything within it, except myself. If I for example, revert the time where I was sitting, then the seat will return to where it was before I pulled it out. Yeah I can do some poltergeists using this. There was even a time where I did this to a stray ball and it hit someone on the way back to where it was. Well I end up using return though. The name of the second ability is back.

Uhh I prefer to not talk about this but... I guess I have to. My third skill, as well as something I condemn the most, eternal core. it's a passive skill. Guess what it does...

No idea? then I will tell you.

It's actually true to it's name. Eternal, I won't die. Core, everything revolves around me. The core part is really what's surprising for me. In case that part weren't clear, I will explain it. It's obvious that what I've been doing with my first skill is a time travel. Then does that mean there are also billions of timelines where I didn't use a time travel? Or when I use it but made a mistake? Core just clarified it, everything revolves around me. That means, I'm trapping billions of people to literally follow my own timeline.

Remorse? Why should I? It's my power afterall, no?

Well if they don't like it they could just get a power like me too right? Ah that's right.

"Ugh this whole smoking thing is ridiculous, how could people like this? It felt cool though. I wasn't much of a smoker before, I guess this is what getting bored makes you.", I uttered silently.

Among my returns, it turns out that there are several people with a superpower like me, though I must say that I'm the most powerful. I got eternal core afterall.

Hmmm, I kind of remember it. I was 15 at that time. I think that was the early day I got this power.

Well I will just explain it simply because I really remember it either.

So there was this girl in my middle school, that was so beautiful that she didn't have any enemy, like everyone was so captivated by her cuteness. I was like that too, so yeah it was so weird that even her going out with multiple boys even got spoken out like it's a godly act, even I thought so, JUST because she's cute.

Yeah... it's not exactly like that.

Well when I awakened my superpower, I was so excited that I spent over... umm... 3? no, 4 years of time looping just to finish all the games and shows I had no time finishing in the same day. Yea you could say I was older than my age.

I wasted my time? Hell nah I enjoyed every second of it otherwise I won't be spending years and time doesn't stand sht in front of me lol.

One day I got bored and decided to go to school. It was normal so I got bored fast

Until.. something feels off.

They're worshipping! They're simping! A Damn Mid! What the hell are you guys doing?

Then I realize, Wasn't that girl that God level cute girl? Sheesh when I took a second look she's barely even in this homeloving boy's standard.

Uhuh so what I did was that I approached her and asked how'd she do that.

Hahahahahh, Damn, I remember that face, that flabbergasted face of hers when she realize I'm not in her influence.

That's not even the best part.

Right after that, she swung her arm to my neck and strangled me. Oh my you don't know how panicked I was, so I tried to defend myself by sliding her, well she slipped but she got me too and we both fell. Then somehow she still got a grip on me and so I was strangled, it wasn't that strong so even I wasn't suffocating. It's such a bizzare view, a man was being strangled by a woman while a crowd was rooting for the woman.

"pffft hahahahhhhhhahahah"

Damn, just remembering it brought me laughs.... damn people are looking at me funny... Well anyway, after that I just strangled her back until she was unconscious.

Well nothing changed, except the crowd wasn't cheering for her anymore, it was just confusion and shock. confusion because why they're there and shock because there was her unconscious body there.

Soon they called the teacher and voila I got sentenced for fighting and was sent home where I got scolded. Of course I tried to reason with them but that girl just came in and said weird words that made the teachers mad at me and tried to kill me. Yes, they got a knife from who knows where and started stabbing me...

Worried? Fear not, for I have the ultimate power!

Return!

And that was the first time I used my return to save my life after years. I returned to... before I call her out. I just got out sneakily. Not long after I moved school, well I pulled some effort with some returns to convince my parents to move out of town.

Well everyone have full authority about their power so they're free to use their power, not like she's violating any moral code either except for enslavement, forcing a norm, scamming, and several minor violations.

Now that I think about it, that's actually not that minor.. oh well whatever. What had happened just let it happen.

Well this story is not finished yet because after that I met her again after 1 year. She got a glow up, not much, but shes now well on my standard.

She noticed me and approached me.

Eh, how? Apparently she said she was interested in me.

LOL

Of course that wasn't true.

After some returns... it's obvious by now but, she didn't change, once she noticed that I wasn't affected by her, a damn knife were thrown at me. So I had to activate my return multiple times to escape my death.

How do I know I was going to die?

It was a trial and error, the first few times the knives found it's way to my lungs, it was so damn painful I would rather die. Glad I pulled through it and was able to finally get a normal conversation with her.

That was when I found out that she actually had a skill called charm. It was weak at first and evolved with her age, she said that at that time was the first time the skill evolved into perfect charm. The skill function the same which is to charm people, perfect charm just made it easier. The reason she noticed me was that she intended to make that restaurant and all the customer hers so she could take the restaurant and have a steady flowing money with these people coming everyday. Smart I must say, why didn't she do this already? Ah right I was the one that obstricted her, well she's just unlucky she met me.

How did I get this much info from a woman that always wanted to kill me? Ah that was also an eventful thing.

When I awakened for the first time, I only know how to use the return skill, now that I think about it, I was just doing my delusional action in my bathroom when I accidentally activated it and went back to the day before.

Back to when I'm with her. I was sick of all this knives flying to me so I just want them to not reach me, kinda like wishing a barrier was there. Well it did happen, when the knives were thrown to a certain range from me, it suddenly went back with the same speed as it did when it was flying towards me. After that everything became chaotic, turns out the whole restaurant was in her control.

But now I have back. Noone can touch me. everyone who got to my back skill range will just get reversed to where they were 10 seconds ago at the same speed. She then tried to run, but of course she came back.. no, I came to her.

And so after some threatening and blackmailing, I finally got lai- ehem, my answers. So after that we parted ways peacefully. Of course, with her becoming my slave.
