New routine

Kagura had already gotten used to her new routine. She would wake up, wash herself, eat something light, dress up and if she had to go to the library. Otherwise she would stay in her room reading books she had already borrowed or play with Ciara. Then later she would eat lunch, read, go to dinner, read and go to bed. When Ciara asked, she would feed her.

Today wasn't any different. She had just been to lunch and she was heading towards the library. She had to return one book related to pet growth, it wasn't helpful at all. The only thing it mentioned was how their growth can be made quicker with pills, but it would also decrease their life span.

So that wasn't an option. She would feed her like usual and it would then grow on its own. It should take about a year and a half to change their looks and Ciara had already started to grow some weird sticks out of her side.

As she arrived at the library and put the borrowed book back on its place, she noticed someone behind her. She didn't do anything about it, she just remained on her place looking for a new book to read. Maybe one that will help her live.

"He Hey."

Kagura turned around because the man speaking behind her seemed to want to talk to her. It was the blond guy again. During these two weeks she had seen him a lot. Sometimes he was waiting for her at the library entrance, sometimes he would find her like this and when she didn't visit the library, he would ask what happened to her.

It was a pain to talk to him like a normal school girl because she was supposed to hide the fact that she was a researcher. The man always asked the same questions.

"How are you doing?"

Where Kagura would always answer.

"Fine thank you, how about you."

Then the man would follow up with.

"I'm doing great, would you want to visit the forest with me?"

To that Kagura would always answer.

"Sorry, I'm very busy."

Kagura did not understand how this man did not understand the message, should she just say it to his face? No, that may cause some problems. If he's a noble he might try and force me and that's the last thing I want.

To destroy an entire city and leave to the other continent.

The man was thinking anything to say to her. He had talked to her so many times but he had no idea what to say to her. He had not found her in anywhere else but the library, not in classes, dorms, outside, hall, anywhere. The library was the only place where she could be found.

He didn't want to ask help from his friend either. He knew them well enough, that it wouldn't go well. Some of them would use the chance to have a better relationship with him and would force the woman and that wasn't what he wanted.

Se the only thing that he could do was to do it himself. He just had no luck or skill with talking to women.

However today would be the day, that he would ask her something else, to do something else with him. Today would be that day. He was looking for anything, signs, anything that would give him an idea to do.

She wasn't wearing any jewelry, should he ask her to go look for one? No, that wouldn't work. He wanted her to love his personality not his money. She clearly didn't want to meet him anywhere outside, what about inside, the dorms hang out place?

But then the prince got even better idea. As Kagura was getting ready to leave, he quickly asked her.

"Would you want to meet me here tomorrow, after dinner?"

Kagura was surprised, he not knew that she didn't want to meet him anywhere so he just asked to meet her here, where she would be anyway. Should she just go before dinner and then stay in her room?

"Why would we do that?"

"Because there's not a lot of people and...and...."

He was looking for a reason, he couldn't just say, because he liked her, that would be embarrassing. He looked at Kagura and then he got it, the best idea.

" I can get you good books to read!"

"Okay."

The respond came so quickly that the prince had no idea how to respond, and because of the silence Kagura had started to walk away.

When the prince was in a condition to start to talk again, she was already long gone. But that didn't ruin the prince's mood, he ran to his room to get a little help without telling them about the girl.

"SALIM, ARI, help me!"

He yelled as he blew the door open. His two roommates were baffled about how the prince was acting.

Salim, the red-haired genius of their generation in economy and magic and the son of a rich merchant.

"What now Lacy?"

Ari asked, he had a black hair and green eyes. He kept his hair long with a ponytail unlike Lacy's short hair and Salmi's bushy hair. Ari had green eyes and was taller than his other two friends Lacy being second.

Ari was a son of a duke. So, he had been friends with Lacy for a long time and they met Salim in school. They then found out that he is their roommate and they naturally became good friends.

"Please tell me some good book names."

Both of them were surprised of the question. Lacy was a master at light magic but he still didn't enjoy reading books. Even more surprising was, that the usually cold face had some emotions in it, flustering and blushing. They became suspicious and would solve this mystery.

"Of course, we can, related to what?"

Lacy was thinking of the books that Kagura liked to read, titles and what they were about.

"Pet care and survival."

Now Salim and Ari were shocked to their core. Lacy did not have a pet and they knew no plans of him wanting to get one. He also knew a lot about survival because of the knights at his palace. So shy would he need to read books related to them? Very suspicious indeed.

Lacy had been behaving rather weirdly for some time now. He disappeared after lunch and dinner and mostly came back with his mood down, so why was he acting so differently now? They both looked at each other and without words agreed to follow him tomorrow.

After getting some book titles, Lacy happily went to take a bath, do some magic training and went to sleep. But falling asleep was hard. He was so nervous about tomorrow, about meeting his dream woman.

At the same time Kagura was playing with Ciara not even thinking about the prince. She only agreed because she was tired of looking for a good book for hours and ending up reading a bad one.

She had no idea about what tomorrow would bring her.
