147 Playing With Fire

Who does this brat think he's playing with!? I lean up closer, bring my lips just centimeters from his as I whisper "Be careful, Jinhai... playing with fire will get you burnt." As if calling my bluff, he leans in just a hair more, causing our lips to lightly touch as he whispers back "Then it's a good thing I like pain. If it's you... I don't think I'd mine burning."

I stiffen in his arms, shocked by this pretty boy and his lewd words. My brain just freezes! I thought he was innocent and clueless about women and how to... you know! But he seems like a lady killer!? 

I jerk my head back and push against his chest as I try to squirm out of his arms but he's freakishly strong! When I see the dark smirk on his face, I feel like I may have just made a mistake. I don't know how or when... I just feel like something just changed. 

The realization causes a pulse of energy to rush down my spine as my eyes lock onto his dark eyes. He watches me struggle with amusement and says "Why are you suddenly trying to run? Weren't you the one just saying that I should be careful? I want to see your fire."

I feel myself stiffen yet again as I blink up at him in total shock. He's a devil! A blackhearted devil!! I use my magic to twist away from him but I'm careful not to attack him. I really don't know who would walk away if we were to ever really fight. Was I really going to run?

If I run now... wouldn't that mean he wins!? He would probably keep doing this if I run... My heart pounds in my chest as I start losing my damn mind. This is like a battle of the wills... I'm not going to back down, I can't! He straightens his rob with that same amused smirk, instantly making me snap. He asked for it!

I rip my robe off and start walking straight at him as I say "Fine! You want the flames? I'll show you just how hot they really are!" His smirk becomes stiff as his eyes slightly show a flash of nervousness. Hah! 

He goes to take a step back but he quickly stops himself and lifts his arms out as if to stop me. I ignore his hands and quickly push them away but he's just as fast. I reach for his robes and pull one side open making his face drop.

Panic now replaces the stupid smug smile as he struggles to keep my hands off him. He's just like my brother! Yes, just like my brother! I've seen my brother in nothing but pants before when he was sword fighting! It's nothing I haven't seen before!!!

I've played cards with my brother and father before!! I will never lose when it comes to bluffing!! His panic bleeds over as he stumbles back and loses his balance. I use my magic to help him down and land on top of him. 

He looks up at me in shock and maybe fear? I'm not entirely sure but I no longer care. I've done lost my damn mind as I try to rip his robes open. He tries to keep my hands away in desperation but when I use my magic, it becomes almost impossible. 

I smile down at him in my crazed state and say "What? Didn't you want to feel the burn!? Let me show you just how hot I can make it!" I grab both sides of his robe and rip them open! Exposing his built chest and making me pause. 

When I hear someone suck in and yell, I look up to see a man in black racing over and yelling "Master! I'll save you, Master!" I frown at him before saying "You want some of this too!?" I go to stand up and attack the new guy but a pair of strong hands grab my arms. 

I look down to see Jinhai glaring up at me and saying "You will not touch another man like this! Ever." He then looks over to the guy and says "Look away before I gouge your eyes out! Leave!" The man stumbles to a stop and looks on in confusion before quickly looking away and bowing. 

He continues to bow as he backs away but when he's finally gone, I blink and turn back to see Jinhai glaring up at me. I try to jerk my arms away from him and out of his grip but he holds on tight.

His dark eyes look me over in a way that has me wanting to hide. I try to pull away again but his grip doesn't allow it. When his eyes lock back onto mine, he asks "Is this a normal thing for you? Attacking men and ripping off their clothes?" 

I scoff at him and say "And if it is? It doesn't concern you. Let me go and you and your little servant can leave with your virginities intact." His eyes darken as his grip tightens. Suddenly, I remember an important detail as I quickly add "I will also make it so that you can touch any woman you want. If you have one in mind, bring her to me."

I try to stand up again but he refuses to release me! I glare down at him and say "If you don't have someone in mind, look for one that you find attractive. Hell, bring ten or even a hundred! I will make as many as you want, so release me and leave!" 

Suddenly, everything flips and I find myself on my back with him over me! I blink in surprise and feel my heart struggling to keep beating. I swallow and look up to him with unease and ask "What the hell are you doing? Get off me!" 

His dark eyes remain cold as he leans down and says "Was this not what you just did to me? Why can you only do this?" I stutter a few times before saying "That was different! You said you wanted to see my fire!" 

His eyes slowly start to heat up as the dark smirk slowly comes back. He slowly leans down, instantly causing me to sink into the ground underneath me in a lame attempt to put more distance between us. 

He suddenly jerks my arms up over my head and pins them there as he uses his other hand to reach down to my top. My eyes grow wide with shock as they dart to his hand and then back to his eyes before saying "Jinhai! This is not MY fire!" 

His smirk blossoms into the most devastating smile I've ever seen as he leans in closer and says "No, it's mine."
