I quickly leave Rune's room in embarrassment. I can feel my face burning and decide to go back to the garden outside. I need some fresh air... Making my way back I try and keep everything that just happened out of my head but I couldn't. Let's be honest.. I'm not a virgin for crying out loud but I've only slept with one man and that didn't end well... and I have a feeling sleeping with Rune would be bad. It would feel oh so very good but bad things would surely follow.

Sighing I shake my head to clear my thoughts and shake out my trembling hands. I quickly spot Fig and make my way over trying to regain a "normal" look. "Hey Syn! The fairies say they know of a secret place perfect for practicing your magic. They say that It'll help you become stronger faster." Fig said hopping around in excitement. I giggle and say "Let's go!"

Being able to put more distance between me and the super hot fae? Yes please. Fig and I follow the fairies and when we reach the outer garden leaving Rune's private gardens I hesitate. I watch as Fig and the fairies continue and decide it should be fine. We were still on Rune's property so we will still be safe. I think about telling Rune but quickly dismiss the idea. Putting some distance between us will be a good thing.

We walk into a wooded area and keep going. The fairies are giggling and chasing the small wild life in the area as we walk and suddenly we come to a cave. I raise my eye brows looking at the cave and the fairies waiting for me to enter. "Is it safe?" I ask uncertain and Fig says "They said it's fine that the cave belongs to them." Fig doesn't hesitate as he walks into the cave. His little body completely disappears and I'm slightly shocked. A barrier?

I decide to follow them and walk in. I feel the barrier wash over me and it's a cool tingling feeling but otherwise nothing bad. My breath is taken away at the sight that greets me though. I was expecting the cave to be dark and cold but I couldn't have been more wrong. Plants growing up the sides of the cave gave off a soft glowing light and by itself it wouldn't be that bright but there were hundreds if not thousands of plants and together they illuminated the entire cave.

There was a pleasent warmth inside of the cave making me gape in wonder. The roots of the plants stretched out from the plants and they too were illuminated. The small stones on the dirt floor even gave off a small glow. I stood frozen in wonder taking it all in when I heard Fig yell "Syn!! You have to see this!!" I shake myself out of my stupur and follow Figs voice slowing while taking the veiw in. The fairies we came with were flying around smaller light creatures.

With the fairies you can make out small bodies and different hair colors but the little light creatures? They were just little bodies of light floating from plant to plant. I could feel power... ancient power and it was so thick in this magical place. I slightly jump when I run into something but quickly notice it's just plants hanging from the top of the cave. The fairies saw and giggled. They flew over and around me before they pulled what looked like a small glowing fruit from the plant and handed it to me.

I smile and say "Thank you." I take the small grape sized fruit in my hand and the power in it shocks me. The fairy waits for me to eat the fruit it gave me so I raise the fruit to my mouth and bite into it. Sure I could pop the whole thing in my mouth but I was a little nervous. An explosion of flavor and power go off in my mouth and my eyes light up. Literally. Oh these are good! "Mmm.." I then eat the rest of it as the fairy giggles in delight.
