5 Chapter 5 - Blue Ice Tiger

---------------------Dragon Realm

"What do you mean she's gone?" A furious voice shouted out. While a man walked in haste towards the Forbidden Land of Samsara.

"Milord, the queen has disappeared from the Forbidden Land," a voice pleaded as though he was desperate for his life.

The man ignored him and continued to see for himself whether or not the queen had disappeared. A few days ago, there was the aura of something ancient and powerful, but he ignored it.

Now, just because he ignored something, he may have the lost the love of his life. Forever.

"Goddamn it! I knew that Ying'er slut was up to no good. NOTHING good happens around her." The man ferociously punched the mountain after spreading his divine sense and sensing that the queen was no longer here.

The mountain collapsed after a simple punch; the man's power was astonishing.

The guards continued to kneel in fear of angering him further.

"Send out all the Divine Sovereigns and higher. I want that golden slut." The man's eyes glinted with hatred and obsession as he walked away from a mountain of debris.

--------------------Floating Cloud City

A beautiful woman and cute little boy were walking together while the woman held the little boy's hand. The pair seemed like mother and son, their beautiful looks only further complimented this pair of mother and son.

"Xi, is this where we're going to live for the next 10 years?" The boy asked the woman in a curious voice while tilting his head up to look at her.

"Yes, Ken. This is we're going to live. We have to make sure to stay in one place so your sister can find you." Xi said while lovingly caressed his hair before feeling little bumps growing in his head.

She ignored it, thinking it was just two bruises.

All the men on the street looked towards Ken with jealousy, hatred and envy. The weird thing was that they were jealous at little kid, but most people could understand because the boy was being caressed by a heavenly beauty after all.

After arriving before a manor with the words 'Xia Manor', they knocked on the door and two guards opened it.

The guards were shocked that such a beauty was here, but they thought smugly, no matter how beautiful a woman is, they can't resist the allure of a strong man. They believed that she came here to receive protection from one of the top families in Floating Cloud City.

"I've come here looking for employment and a place to stay," Xi asked, completely ignoring their lustful expressions.

She released the aura of Earth profound realm, in order not to shock them too much.

The two guards immediately hid away their lustful ideas and put on a respectful face.

"Senior, I will go talk with the master now." They walked away after bowing to Xi and Ken.

Xi just sneered after seeing them change faces faster than a hoe changing boyfriends.

After a few minutes, a slight overweight middle-aged man came walking out. The man was not particularly handsome, but he had a gentle aura on him.

"Senior, I heard you wanted employment and a place to stay. The Xia family would be more than willing to accommodate and pay you." The man said warmly.

"You can arrange the pay and the place we are staying but I want a place with privacy and training grounds." Xi replied, neither warmly nor coldly.

"Please, follow after me. I think I know the perfect place." He led them inside and through the courtyard before arriving at a small room styled in an eastern fashion. with one queen sized bed and a toilet with a bath.

After leading them here, the man introduced himself as Xia Hongyi, the lord of this manor. He bowed then left.

-------Shen Xi's POV

(A/N: First time trying POV, might not use it in the future but it depends on how this goes)

After the following the middle-aged man, who surprisingly only had a little bit of lust for me, we arrived at a small room with a queen-sized bed and a toilet.

Wait a minute.

I'm going to be alone.

Alone.

In.

A.

Bedroom.

With.

Ken.

A woman.

And a man.

Wait, Ken's not a man yet. It doesn't matter, I will make sure his development will be perfect.

"Xi? Why is there blood running down your nose?" Ken asked me while our gazes met each others. His beautiful eyes that freed me from that prison, drew me in to look deeper but the spirals seemed to hypnotize me.

"Xi? Why are you not answering?"

Oops. He almost noticed my inner thoughts.

"Oh um, it's because this room is so good that blood fell," Xi nervously explained, hoping that he will believe this ridiculous excuse.

"Ok, I hope you will get better." Ken innocently told her.

Sigh. What a shame his going to have lose that innocence. The cultivation world does not allow for the slightest innocence.

-------------------MC POV

After Xi's weird nosebleed, I went to go to explore this place. I mean this place is going to be my home for the next decade, it better be good.

I went to go find our neighbors, starting from the right side.

"Kyaaaah~ You're so cute!" A maid with black hair came rushing to him with her arms outstretched.

It was at this moment, I knew.

I f***ed up.

I immediately bolted out of the courtyard due to my trauma of Shen Xi constantly pinching my cheeks and trampling on my pride.

I ran to the left side of the courtyard before she could catch me. Surprisingly, she didn't follow me to the left side. Instead had a frightful expression on her face.

Hmmm, I wonder what could frighten her so much that she didn't even want to pinch my cheeks.

I threw those thoughts away and focused on greeting my new neighbor, I walked up to the room then knocked on the door. I shuffled my feet in nervousness while I waited for the person to answer the door.

The door creaked open then…

"What the hell? Why are you here?" I exclaimed after seeing who the person was.

"You!? The star mountain guy? Why can't I be here." The beautiful girl they met at the city was here.

"My name is Ken not star mountain guy." I said in a grumpy tone.

"Ok Ken, leave." The girl said coldly before slamming the door into my face.

Tch. How rude.

I leave this cold girl alone then return to my room.

--------------The next morning (5AM)

"Ken, your training starts right now. Everyday at 5am, you will run around Floating Cloud City 3 times before coming back and doing 100 pushups, 100 squats, and 100 situps. Then I will teach you cultivation. After cultivation training, we will train your eyes." A loud voice boomed while throwing a bucket of ice-cold water on my face.

I was definitely awake now.

-------------3 weeks later

I followed Shen Xi as she walked through the mountain ranges.

"Xi? What are we doing?" I asked in curiosity.

"Just wait, you'll see."

I grumbled in response but continued to follow her.

After a while, we stopped. In front of me was a True Profound Realm Blue Ice Tiger, it was staring at me like I was prey.

The pride that seemed to be carved deep into my bones showed itself as my head throbbed in anger at a puny tiger looking down on me.

"Kill it." Xi said in a cold voice then left.

I let out my aura of Nascent 8th Realm before rushing to towards it. The tiger reacted by letting out it's 2nd True Profound Realm aura then pounced towards me.

I rolled to the side before it could pounce on me then I punched the right side of it's face. The tiger was punched into the side of the tree, completely destroying it.

It immediately let out 5 blue ice spikes towards me while it howled in rage. I had a gut feeling that if I were hit by these spikes, it would be extremely dangerous. I formed a shield of profound energy that managed to block 3 spikes before the shield shattered and the two spikes dug into my left arm.

I howled in pain, but I suppressed the pain then stared at the tiger in hatred. It was forming a huge ice spike right now; it would be fatal to me if that were to hit me.

I immediately rushed towards it while it was still distracted by forming its ice spike. I punched it in its face with brute strength that made it bleed and fall to the ground.

I knew I couldn't be merciful, I rained down punches on its body until it finally let out a cry of despair then stopped struggling.

I panted heavily. My left arm was numb in pain.

I did it.

I took a life.

But why, instead of feeling sorry. The feeling of exhilaration and excitement filled me. I felt like I was on top of the world, nothing could stop me.

I loved this feeling.

Something ancient awakened in my soul. I passed out before I could recognize what it was.
