Chapter 14: New Grand Elders.

Everyone, even the sect leader was stunned. All the elders had arrived and seen the Children, but they didn't notice him at all.

Everyone was looking at Lennon at this moment. He himself felt a little uncomfortable seeing the gazes on him.

Lennon's gaze was on the 67 young teens and his voice was not loud as he said. "Let's us continued". His voice was loud and clear.

At this moment a loud voice resounded."How dare you sit next to the sect master!!" Elder Ratto stood up from the sect master's left side and walked to the right pointing at Lennon.

Furry could be seen from his face. In his heart, anger surfaced. He had always wanted to be the grand elder, but he was never given the chance even after the death of Elder Maxwell, the Previous Grand Elder.

How can he let some unknown brat. He was furious. The sect master wanted to stop him, but he didn't. He also wanted to see what the new elder was made of.

Elder Ratto arrived in front of him and looked at him with fury on his face. He loudly said." Who are you and who told you to sit on the seat of the Grand Elder."

At this moment, a voice reached Lennon's ears.

[It looks looks like this sect is in trouble.]

Lennon could not feel it, but after hearing Excel's voice he was also convinced. This old man must be the reason why Elder Maxwell died and also why the Sect is having problems.

He looked directly into Elder Ratto's eyes and said. "Don't you have manners?" His gaze became cold and he continued. "Shouldn't you be introducing yourself before questioning my identity?"

It's true. If you meet someone you don't know, you first introduce yourself first. It is disrespect to ask someone their name without telling yours first.

Lennon had a point. "This." Even the onlookers were stunned. "He is not wrong", the Elders Muttered.

Even the sect leader nodded.

On the other hand, Elder Ratto was gritting his teeth, his rage almost manifestating into reality.

He was really angry. He was losing face. He replied." You, you, you are just a nameless brat. Kneel now and apologize to me and I will let you live".

He unintentionally revealed a creepy smile that cause the disciples feel uncomfortable. Lennon on the other hand stayed unmoving and no reply came from him.

"You" Boom. Just as Elder Ratto was about to say something, he was cut of by a punch to the chest. Crack, crack sounds were heard and a body flew into a teen in the middle of the training ground.

The next moment. A boom sound resounded and the whole training area shook. A 5 meter trench was formed and Elder Ratto and a disfigured body was on the other side of it. Elder Ratto was seriously injured, while the teen was already dead.

Elder Ratto had blood flowing out of his mouth, nose, eyes, ears and chest. Blood dyed the area red.

Everyone looked at this scene and shuddered. Elder Ratto's disciple who was, a few moments ago, thinking of attacking Lennon was scared shitless.

It has to be said that after Grand Elder's death, Elder Ratto was the proposed next Grand Elder.

Now he is close to following the grand elder. How could others not feel fear?

Lennon took out a beast skin and used it to remove the blood from his right fist. Although he didn't use his full strength, he had cause Elder Ratto's chest to break and if he didn't pull his punch early enough, he would have definitely punched through him.

When he was done he pointed at the corpse of the teen and Elder Ratto and said. "Sect Leader, you should be careful of who you bring to the sect. Those two are filled with demonic energy."

As soon as he said this, a pendant on Elder Ratto completely shattered and released a large amount of demonic energy.

At the same time, the dead teen turned into a beast corpse and Elder Ratto sprouted two demonic horns on his forehead.
