new shop

I stared at the shop for a good while.

([anti range's shop]). [purple]

([Items]) [skills]

Mana pill. (S) 1.000 credits.

body enchantment pill. (S+) 1.000 credits.

liquid weapon. (S+) 1.250 credits.

purified steel sword.(C+) 25 credits.

purified steel armor set.(C+) 200 credits.

"So what is the conversion rate"?

["1 credit equals 100 coins"]

"What?"

I was simply surprised that someone used that much.

["Also, there is a 50% off deal for the first purchase."]

'Crap, once I choose something everything becomes more expensive.'

I closed the shop and went back.

I looked around my room and it was messy, extremely messy.

Christine was ruining things on top of tables, and Brendon was ruining things on the ground.

"Geez I think the kids have grown attached to this place".

'All I said is be prepared to leave, and they made a mess.'

"Yeah, you can say that". I looked at her for a while then asked.

"Are you still mad"? "Honestly I just don't understand".

"What don't you understand"? I asked blankly.

She paused and took deep breaths.

"Why did you have a ring on after going away"? 'Is this some sort of misunderstanding?'

"I simply found it in the dungeon I mentioned yesterday".

She made an annoyed expression.

Then she decided to yell "Are you dating or married"?!

The room went quiet for a few seconds. Even Christine and Brendon stopped messing up the place.

"No I am not dating, and definitely not married". I said in a resolute tone.

'Why is she asking this??? What kind of misunderstanding is this??'

Unfortunately my thoughts were more chaotic.

"Okay". She quietly sighed and left the room.

'What was that??' I looked around the room.

"A-anyway I should clean this place up". I used mana to pick things up, and put them in place.

'Oh? Some things were hidden well, somehow.'

"Did you two think ruining the place would make us stay longer"? I asked.

Both nodded shamefully.

'The size difference is interesting though.'

Christine was a whole head taller than Brendon, but half a head shorter than me

'Oh, now that I think about it. Christine seemed to like accessories.'

I looked through the shop, and picked an item.

[crescent moon hair accessory(F+)] 200 coins.

coats the user in mana.

There is a reason why I decided on this.

'Now what would Brendon want?'

"Hey wanna go shopping before we leave"? I asked.

"Yes! I heard you can buy magic scrolls at the library"! Brendon was very enthusiastic.

'Magic?' I thought for a moment then got an idea.

"Let's go to a special library". I said smiling.

We were in the middle of the street, and I was searching for something.

"Why are we here"? Brendon asked uncomfortably.

"We're here for a special library". I said confidently.

"What are you searching for"? Christine asked.

"A specific mark". Then I found it.

It was in the shape of a cube, and on the cube there were magic circles drawn.

"There"! I took out my dagger and stabbed it.

'One of the secrets Sophia showed me.'

"If I didn't have money I wouldn't have considered this".

The ground seemed to open, and we seemed to fall.

"Woah! Did I do something?"! Brendon started panicking, and Christine was awfully calm.

I just stood up and casually observed.

'I was like Brendon when I first entered.'

*thud!*

Then we landed.

Inside there was a dark room a light by a table, and a woman sitting there.

"You're new". The woman said emanating a menacing aura.

"Knowledge is weak therefore I am weak". I said.

"You are weak, therefore knowledge is strong". She replied.

"I wish to become strong".

"Then become knowledge".

"You are knowledge".

"And you are strong".

*brrr!*

The woman stood up.

"For three"? She asked.

I nodded.

"One adult and two children"? She asked.

I thought for a moment, and looked at Christine.

She looked at me blankly.

"Two adults and one child". I said as I took money from my inventory.

"Oh"? She looked quite interested and accepted the money.

"Don't disturb the peace". She said.

I nodded.

Then we were transported elsewhere.

"What is this"? "Is this a library"?! Christine and Brendon exclaimed.

"Welcome to the grand library". I said.

Inside was hundreds of bookshelves, and millions of books.

There were also a couple elves, and a few dwarves.

'Thank you Sophia.' I thought.

"So, first of all the rules". I said staring at Brendon.

He flinched and I continued. "First: do not yell unless you've been stabbed or severely hurt. Second: Never run, and if you plan on running do it quietly".

"Third: Do not interrupt someone reading unless they give you permission. Lastly: If you do any of these you're getting a penalty".

"What is the penalty"? Brendon asked.

"A permanent mark and money". I said. 'Luckily last life I avoided the penalty due to Sophia.'

"Okay, so be quiet, don't run and don't interrupt people"? Christine said.

I nodded.

"There is a kids section, so Brendon you go there". I said bluntly while tapping his shoulder.

"Why, do I have to"? I shook my head.

He looked excited and took a couple books.

"Christine what do you want to do"? I asked tapping her shoulder.

"I-I want to know w-why I had to suffer". She said her voice slightly shaking.

"I recommend the history and monsters section". I said.

"Thank you". Then a he left with a determined face.

'Anyway I came for history, and mana techniques.'

First I went to the mana techniques section.

I studied how people created these techniques and how to use them.

'The ones I basically have to learn are, concealment, sense and mana communication.'

The first allows one to erase traces of their mana.

The second allows for an estimate of one's strength. "In case I can't use analysis".

And the last one is self explanatory.

Then Brendon came up to me. "This is too hard to read". He said embarrassed.

"Okay read what you can out loud then I'll help where I can". I said.

"Why can't you just read it for me"?

I thought and answered. "Because I'm lazy".
