Chapter 6

Hua wumian spent the next day in her room, and soon enough she was sitting for her makeup, wearing the gown her mother bought, she was a few low key jewelry and a small love shaped necklace.

Su liangxiao and Hua wumian sat awkwardly as they signed their marriage certificate, no one said anything the entire time.

"Smile a little more ma'am, after all you're getting married. And I'm sure you wouldn't want an ugly wedding photo..." Said the photographer as he urged Hua Wumian to smile with his own smile.

Hua wumian mustered a small smile, the photographer sighed and took the picture, there was nothing he could do, their marriage certificate was handed to them.

In the car Hua wumian looked at the certificate dazed, she was married now and all her hopes had finally been extinguished.

Su liangxiao stared at the dazed Hua wumian coldly, was he that bad to be with, that he looked like he had taken her soul and extinguished all her hopes.

But didn't he?

" I have already moved your things to the house, you don't need to go home.."

Su liangxiao said coldly as he focused on the road, not sparing a glance on Hua Wumian.

"Who the h*ll gave you the permission to do that, what exactly do you take me for. Stop this car right now I'm going home.."

Hua Wumian who was already annoyed became angrier when she heard Su Liangxiao's words.

Su liangxiao scoffed angrily and parked at the side of the road. What did she think she was to raise her voice at him.

"Get out!.."

He shouted with a cold expression excluding a very powerful aura, Hua Wumain stared at him for a while a little shocked, Su liangxiao opened the door and pushed her away and drove off.

Hua wumain collected her thoughts and smiled bitterly, looking at the car that was driving away. Away from her mom and Su Liangxiao she finally broke down as tears spilled out from her eyes.

So this was the kind of man I married, the type she disliked a lot. Hua Wumian just started walking, the sky had turned dark and it looked like it was about to rain.

And it did, Hua Wumian's tiny figure could be seen in the rain as the strong breeze blow her from side to side. But she didn't feel anything, she didn't even know when it had started to rain.

Su Liangxiao didn't drive far, only parked at a side to cool off, he sooo frowned when he saw it was raining.

Would that woman be in shelter or had sue gotten home, Su Liangxiao shook her head what was his business. His smoked nonchalantly but images of the cold and shivering Hua Wumian kept appearing in his mind.

"F**k this!.."

Su Liangxiao sighed as he turned on the car, and drove back to meet Hua Wumian. Hua Wumian has gotten tired and found a bench to sit down on, while the cold breeze and rain poured down from all side.

She was shivering, and now she had regretted now noticing it was raining earlier.

Su Liangxiao finally was Hua Wumian and guilt finally washed over him, seeing her shiver made his heart clenched.

He sighed and retrieved an umbrella before getting down from the car, it only took three steps for him to get to the bench Hua Wumian was sitting on.

"Had enough fun yet..."

Hua Wumian looked up hearing his cold voice, and she immediately became angry again. Why was he here again Su liangxiao was the least person she wanted to see.

"Why are you here.."

Hua Wumian voice was so cold that Su Liangxiao felt like she had sprinkled salt into the making his heart burn.

"I..I couldn't leave you here like this..."

After he finished saying this, he directly picked her up pressing her to his chest, so she could feel a little warm.

Hua Wumian didn't want to admit it but Su Liangxiao smelt so good and being so close to his chest she could hear his heartbeat and she suddenly felt tired all of a sudden.

Su Liangxiao looked at the sleeping woman and sighed, he didn't know what to do. Inside the car he removed most of her wet clothes, and carried her over him so she could be warm.

Su Liangxiao was tall so Hua Wumian didn't affect his vision.

Back at the Mansion, he asked the maids to tell the cook to make a healthy dinner with some warm milk. Then he carried Hua Wumian to their room, there he helped her take a warm shower and wore a set of Pokémon pajama.

Su Liangxiao breathing was hetic as he looked at Hua Wumian's body. This was the body underneath those clothing, it was amazing.

After placing her on the bed and making sure she was comfortable, he went to take a very cold shower.

While Su Liangxiao was in the shower, Hua Wumian had already woken up curling up in a ball, suppressing all her sadness. She stayed in that position until she got a call from her mother.

Bai zhi: mianmian how are you feeling, are the Su's treating you well.

Hua wumian: yes mom they are very nice to me.

Bai zhi: I know it must be hard on you, to marry a stranger and start living in his house the next day. If not for your d@mned grandfather this would not have happened.

Hua wumian: it's okay mom no hard feelings against them, mom I'm tired so I want to sleep now. You too sleep early and remember to eat breakfast tomorrow.

Bai zhi: good night baby, I love you.

Hua wumian: I love you too mom and stay safe.

Hua wumian felt better after talking to her mother, she got up from the bed and went to sit outside.

There she finally fell asleep, under the stars.

Su liangxiao squatted close to hua wumian admiring her features; rosy cheeks, pink lips, fair white skin, and it even seemed that her face had a natural blush or maybe it was just from the cold.

Su liangxiao looked at the sleeping woman and placed her on the bed gently. His gaze never leaving her not even for a sec, and it seemed like the cold icy eyes and thaw a little.

Hua wumian woke up unusually late, without her mother's usual morning call.

She took a quick shower and wore a light pink sweater with a black jeans and came downstairs.

She sat down to eat breakfast with grandpa Su as Su liangxiao parents had gone back home.

Hua wumian ate slowly and elegantly, her eyes showing no trace of sadness unlike yesterday.

"Mianmian grandpa is sorry, for making you marry such an unfilial grandson like liangxiao."

Hua wumian looked up at grandpa Su, her respect for him had gone to another level. "Don't apologize grandpa it's not your fault, I like it here."

Grandpa Su smiled and laughed although breakfast, and somehow Hua wumian got affected too. As she was smiling and grinning all the way.

Hua wumian went back to her room, just when she received a call from Nuo xiulan

Hua wumian: xiaoxiu what's the occasion.

Nuo xiulan: mianmian what's up baby girl, let's go out hmm as a wedding gift to you and your husband.

Hua wumian gasped how did she know.

Hua wumian: xiaoxiu my mom told you about it didn't she.

Nuo xiulan: and it hurts me that you didn't tell me hmmm mianmian."

Hua wumian: "—" I wanted to tell you but it seems that my mother beat me to it.

Nuo xiulan: mian mian lets go out, let's me up at min coffee palace hehe.

Hua wumian: you'll buy me a cappuccino right.

Nuo xiulan: get your butt down here and we'll see about that.

Hua wumian chuckled and grabbed her bag.

She bid grandpa Su goodbye and left the house.
