Chapter 14
Hua wumian stared at the door quietly, looking downcast it was like thousand needles were pricking her heart. She suppressed the pain and continued working.
She worked for another two hours before heading back home.
Hua wumian wore a light blue pajama, she wasn't her usual giddy self as she walked quietly to Grandpa Su.
"Grandpa I'm heading to Country X tomorrow."
Grandpa Su also looked Downcast, he favorite daughter-in-law was traveling, the house wouldn't be the same if she's not here.
"That's good, when will you be back."
"If everything goes well, a week or half a month."
Grandpa Su nodded, they chatted for a while before Grandpa Su left to rest.
Su liangxiao wasn't back yet so Hua Wumian ate alone in the huge dinning table.
She just kept stuffing food in her mouth, hoping it would suppress the sadness in her heart.
She went back to her room and laid on the bed silently, why was she sad? she didn't love him and he didn't love her so why was she sad.
Hua Wumian got up and went to the Wine cellar, taking a bottle of wine.
She didn't even look at the name or the alcohol contents and just down the wine.
It washed away the sadness, leaving only a bitter taste in her mouth.
When Su Liangxiao came back it was already past midnight,he strolled quietly through the silent house.
Hua Wumian is still awake he thought, after seeing her room still lit up.
He walked into the room and as the drunk Hua wumian on the floor, her head on her knees.
Su liangxiao bent down and picked up the Wine.
He nearly spat blood after seeing the name.
The alcohol content in the wine was able to make someone drunk after a sip, but she drank the whole bottle.
He shook Hua wumian gently as he carried her to the shower.
"Liangxiao is that you."
"Hmmm."
"Why did you drink so much."
Having known some of her personality, he knew she only drink when was sad. So what made her sad.
"Liangxiao don't you not want me anymore, are you going to toss me out when you don't need me anymore."
It dumbfounded Su liangxiao where was she getting thoughts like that.
"I'm not and you're drunk."
Hua wumian pouted as she stared at Su Liangxiao hard, she looked like she was going to devour him.
"What why are you looking at me like that."
Su liangxiao turned on the shower and set it to warm, he looked at Hua Wumian her face was all red, somehow Su liangxiao found the state she was in pleasing.
"Why are you smiling, is there something on my face."
"No get in the shower you're drunk."
Su Liangxiao stated as he placed Hua Wumian in the tub, her pajama's soaked as she entered the water clinging to her body.
"I can bathe myself, you can go out now."
Su liangxiao didn't delay as he was afraid he would go something to Hua wumian, he picked out new nightgown for Hua wumian and sat on the bed waiting for her to come out side.
Thirty minutes
One hours
Two hours.
Su liangxiao was getting anxious, why was she taking so long in the shower.
"Wumian don't tell me you're asleep in the tub."
Su liangxiao walked in and saw the sleeping Hua wumian, he wasn't surprise as he sighed, he had learnt his lesson never let a drunk woman take a shower by herself.
He prayed silently as he wrapped Hua wumian in a towel, and placed her gently on the bed.
He looked at the nightgown, and then he looked at the naked Hua wumian.
His first reaction was to call the maids, then he changed his mind. He didn't want anyone to see his wife's body, not even a woman.
Yet again he was afraid that he would do something to her if he changed her clothes.
Alas Su liangxiao mustered the courage as he took a deep breath.
He avoided looking at her body as he wore her the nightgown.
Su liangxiao was already sweating when he got out of the room.
Too dangerous just too dangerous.
