The Prince III

"We're here, your highness..." I said and gently tapped his arms that was encircled around me.

He mumbled before embracing me tighter. I held my breath even more and gave Yibo a helpless look.

Rolling his eyes at me, he tapped the Prince himself.

'Just what is his problem? I'm doing my best here?'

Even my wolf is stressed out.

"Your highness, I know your awake." Yibo said. On cue, the Prince raised his head and glared at him, making the latter bow his head.

The Prince sighed before looking at me and pouting. "If only me and My Lady could stay like this a bit longer..." he said in disappointment.

My cheeks heated up as he chuckled at my reaction. "My Lady isn't quite immune in flattering compliments..." he teased before getting of the van and offering me his hand...

In the end, he didn't take me to his castle in England. In fact, he took me to Aunt Dia's.

My eyes widened as we entered the residence that I stayed in for 2 months.

'I just got out of here you know?' I thought as I looked at him.

The Lycans there bowed they're head as we passed them but some knew me so they shot me confused glances.

The Prince and I were walking hand in hand and was confusing all of them.

"Your highness..." a man greeted. It was Peter. He bowed his head and was shocked when he saw me. He looked at me in confusion before his eyes caught the the Prince's hand that were intertwined in mine.

"Peter..." A women's voice called from behind. "Your Highness!" In a hurry, the woman went near the Prince and also bowed her head. She too saw me and did the same thing that Peter did.

"Long time, no see." The Prince greeted them. The Prince looked at me and gestured his hand to my Aunt. "My Lady, this is Warrior Dia, the woman who took care of me and trained me..." he chuckled "You can say that she's like my mom"

I smiled shyly at her. "Hey, Aunt Dia..." I greeted her, making the Prince look at me in confusion.

"You know her?" He asked me in a confused look. I bit my lips before nodding at him.

"I do, your highness." I replied making him look at me in amazement.

"Interesting... My Lady, since I've met you, the surprises never ended" he commented and smiled at me.

Aunt Dia reached her hand out to the Prince and smiled. "Your Highness, it's cold here. Let's go inside and talk. " Aunt Dia suggested and  we all followed.

Instead of using the living room, My Aunt insisted on using the conference room instead.

It was a 12 seater oval shaped table with 12 swivel chairs around it.

Aunt Dia sat on the main seat, Peter was seated on Aunt's right side while the Prince was at her left.

I was gonna go out to give them privacy since I figured that what they are gonna discuss is something important, when the Prince suddenly grabbed my wrist.

He flashed a confused and begging look at me. "Where are you going, My Lady?" He asked.

My eyes widened as I looked at the other two entities in the room and pointed the door.

"Y-Your Highness, I-I was gonna give you some privacy, since I thought you were gonna discuss something...uhhh..." I looked at him and swallowed an imaginary lump on my throat. "...important?" I answered and looked at him.

He chuckled at me, flashing his sweet smile at me , like I said something funny. "My Lady, you are my MATE, you deserve to hear something important too." He said and pulled me to a swivel chair beside his.

I was shocked but still followed him. Peter and my Aunt looked at me with shocked expressions.

"M-Mate?" Peter asked while looking at me. I lowered my head before nodding.

The Prince chuckled elegantly. "Can you believe it, Mum?" The Prince looked at Aunt Dia with a calmed but excited face. "After years and years of searching, I found her in the least expected moment..." he said and looked at me in a sweet way as he gently squeezed my hand.

Aunt Dia smiled at the Prince before glancing at me. "I'm happy for you..."

I smiled at my Aunt for I knew that those words were meant for me.

"Your highness, earlier when you asked me how I'm related to... well,  her..." I started and pointed my Aunt. "She's my Aunt... "

He smiled. "I know... and Zhedrick is your Father... right?" He asked.

My eyes widened in shock. "H-Ho---" I didn't get to finish my question when Aunt Dia answered.

"The Okwaho family is close to the King, Zara..." Aunt Dia explained. "Or is it that Your Highness is too smart for riddles. "

I blinked multiple times as my mouth gaped open in shock.

"Well then..." We all turned our head to my Aunt when she spoke. "Let's get you to your place, Travon." My Aunt said and stood up.

The Prince smiled at me. "My Lady is quite surprised." He said as he helped me stood up. I tumbled on my heels making me slump on his chest.

S-S-Sturd-dy....

The smell of his fragrance tingled my nose. Slowly looking up, I saw his red face. My eyes widened in shock as I distanced myself from him.

"My apologies, your highness." I apologized with my head bowed.

He chuckled. "My Lady, since when will you stop calling me either your highness?"

I looked at him in confusion. Walking towards me, he stopped at a safe distance.

"My Lady, I would be very delighted if you'd call me... My Prinve like you did earlier this evening." He suggested. "Or better, if you learn to call me by my name, Travon"

I bit my lips and bowed my head again. " Forgive me, My Prince. But, I dare not to call you by your name." I refused.

I looked at him. He looked both disappointed and sad. "And why is that?" He asked.

"My Prince, you are the King's son. I am your subordinate and you are my---"

"Mate..." he finished. I looked at him in frustration. "I am your mate, and you are my future queen."

My heart throbbed, not in pain, but in happiness. I couldn't believe it. How can someone so royal and elegant accept someone like me, who doesn't even have anything to boast about. "But My Prince... I believe I don't deserve you..." Finally, those words slipped my mouth.

Words from my conversation with Kade on the Day we first met kept ringing in my head.

The prince slowly walked towards me and hugged me, in which I was taken by surprise.  "My Lady, Zara... You are more than what I prayed for." He said and tightened his hug.

My wolf was awoken and wagged its tail. "My Prince, you..." I couldn't help but sound like I was crying.

He broke free from the hug and lowered himself so we would be in the same height. "...whoever told you those words.. will regret not having you, My Lady..." he said and held my hand.

Pulling me outside, I watched his back. "I won't force you, My Lady." He said when we reached outside. "You can call me by my name... when you are ready..." he continued.

I looked at him and felt warm inside. My weird staring at him was interrupted by a sudden clear of a throat.

My Aunt Dia and Peter was staring at us with a grin on their face. "Well then, Let's proceed to the Prince's Residence. " Aunt Dia said and started walking out the Main House.

Ah... The Royal Residence located at the back of the main pack house. I've always seen it a far distance but never even dares to step in its boundaries.

At the back of the main pack house lies a pathway that only those who enter are with granted access. The pathway then leads to a beautiful fountain in front of an enormous modern mansion.

The Prince squeezed my hand when we arrived in front of his mansion. "You're gonna love it inside. Now, I can tell you more about me." He calmly said with a smile while looking at me.

Two big oak doors swung open and welcomed us inside. A big living room with an enormous TV and an elegantly wide stairs were already too much for me. Not mentioning the crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

Everything made me speechless. My thoughts were interrupted by a low chuckle. "Is everything to your liking, My Lady?" The Prince asked with a smile.

I nodded my head and blushed in embarrassment.  He must've seen the surprise in my eyes.

"So, I suppose we can go now." Aunt Dia said. We turned our head to her. Beside her was her smiling husband, Peter. I nodded and was gonna walk towards them when a hand stopped me.

"My Prince?" I asked with a confused look. I straightened my posture and smiled a t him. "You need to rest, My Prince. I should go now and leav--"

"My Lady..." he cut me off. He was serious this time. "Don't leave me..." he said in a gentle voice and slowly pulled me to him. "It'll be more lonely now, My Lady..." he said. "Its pur first day as mates..."

My eyes widened at him. "But y---" I was cut off again by a loud grumble. It came from the Prince's stomach.

I chuckled and looked at his embarrassed face. "My Prince... have you not eaten yet?" I asked in the most polite way while holding my laugh.

He released his grip on my arm and nodded. "Forgive my behaviour, My Lady. But, I couldn't eat even a piece at that party, for more important matters."

CLICK! The sound of the front door closing echoed in the mansion. We were the only ones left there.

I smiled at him. " So, My Prince, may I cook for you?"
