Chapter 111: Someone He Cherishes

Two days later, Slate returned to the hospital for the case he will file towards Beatrice.

It could have been done by the hospital but he wants to get back to her himself.

He wasn't a saint who would leave it to others and wouldn't get back at her himself.

Amethyst somehow argued that she will join him.

He didn't know why she seemed to want to go but seeing that she was adamant, he could only let her be.

In the meeting room, Beatrice and the rest of the shareholders together with the director were already in, when the two of them arrived.

"What is she doing here?" Beatrice instantly asked when she saw Amethyst.

Amethyst scoffed, "Finally showing your true color?"

"You cannot be here," Beatrice glared at her.

"She can, she is partially involved and she is my niece. As someone close to doctor Miller and someone who knows of the truth of the matter, she can testify," the director instantly said.
