Ch 9: Invitation of the Goddesses

After completing her registration, Elena asked the receptionist Corella for some good inn recommendation and then left the guild.

She then went towards the Guard building, where both the bandits and the captives were kept.

Checking and identifying more than 300 people was definitely hard and time consuming work.

Reaching the station Elena handed a young looking guard a gold coin and told him about the good inn and asked him to get the best rooms there for all the freed captives. She already have a good idea about the prices so according to her calculation 1 gold coin or 1 million R should be enough. But still she told the guard to ask her for more if that is not enough.

The guard was a bit troubled by Elena's request. But he was released from his problem as a bearded man approached Elena. He was wearing a fancy looking armour so his status should be quite high, Elena thought. His level was also high even tho not as high as the guild master, Roice. He was level 239.

"Miss Elena, I'm the knight order vice captain Gustav Macrony. Thank you very much for catching those troublesome bandits. Please allow me to thank you. Also please let us to pay for the captives living. It is nothing for you worry about. You've already done enough."

The bearded man said. Elena replied to him

"I promised to treat them with good food and to take care of their lodging, so at least allow me to pay for them for today."

Gustav smiled helplessly

"If you insist."

At that time Silia came forward and thanked Elena once again and insisted to leave everything there to her and asked her to take some rest. According to Elena's judgement, Silia is a very competent person so she can leave it to her. She also want to take some time to think through some things.

Leaving the Guard building behind Elena went to the best and most luxurious inn in the city "Shining Golden Pavillion" to get a room.

The lobby of the inn was big and there was level 150+ guards around as security. In the reception there was a mature women with beautiful looks. Elena asked her for the price of the rooms.

The receptionist, even tho she was a bit stunned by Elena's beauty, was able to give a reply properly. As expected of a receptionist of a luxurious inn.

According to her, the most expensive room of this inn was the Grand Suite, which costs 2 large silver per day along with breakfast, lunch and dinner. The suite also have a attached bath which is a luxury in this world. Elena was happy with the room and took it.

After entering the room she took a quick bath and then lying on the bed ordered "System, show me the status of my three new summons."

They were the three new summons Elena got. Among them Devour Slime was the most rare familiar available in the system.

On the other hand, Nynntholemsus was a insanely strong final boss Elena had beaten in her journey. Other than her old summons, this was her first choice if she choose a new one. The special ability of this monster was insanely tricky and strong. Elena had a very hard time beating it, even tho she was higher level than it at that time.

And Dialkya was one of the monster who was alongside SLUGERRUD in the final battle. It was also the reason for her mount's death. This monster was insanely strong and probably the best when it comes to hiding and sneak attacks. It was a perfect assassin.

She knows the details about both her new regular summons even tho she don't have any idea how to raise their level for now. But first she has to check the details about Devour Slime as she knows nothing about it.

First she have to summon it.

A little white ball came out from the Summoning circle.

The very first responsibility of Elena as the Summoner was to name her familiar. After thinking for some time she decided to name it [Echidna].

Elena then used {Perfect Analysis} on it. According to it, the Devour Slime is special because of its Unique Skil {Devouring}. This is a super OP skill. The Devour Slime can learn all the skills of the opponents it defeats and then consume.

There are some limitations, like it can only devour either beings with double digit level or beings weaker than itself. Weaker doesn't mean the being have to be lower level than the Echidna. If Echidna can defeat the being, alone without outside help and devour it then it is valid.

But for now it is super weak. Still it can at least devour beings at or below level 99. It also have to kill it's opponent before devouring. But, right now it's too weak to kill anything alone so Elena have to almost kill the monster and only letting Echidna deal the final blow.

The more types of being it devours the more skills it will have and stronger it will became. Elena thought all that while stroking Echidna who was cuddling with her.

Elena then thought of using the low ranking adventurers to gather all types of low level monsters for her. She doesn't really want to waste her time bullying and hunting such weak monsters, so using the adventurers to gather various species of monsters will be better.

As Elena was planning all sort of strategy to maximize the effect of "Devouring" she got a system notification.
