Jiang Yao's mood was good as they continued through the wilderness. They soon reached the areas where Luo Xiao was capable of putting up a fight against the beasts that they encountered, and their advancement slowed.

Little Gold had fallen asleep due to the sheer amount of energy that it had consumed from the dragon heart, alongside the heritage that had been implanted in its mind.
Luo Xiao had thought that the little dragon would sleep for a long time; however, after a day, the little beast woke up. It had matured well, and was behaving like a five-year-old child.
