Chapter 7: Ruckus

The Babble from the great hall slowly fades out of my senses as I process the text message I received from Aldea.

"He's here!?" I couldn't distinguish whether it's relief or fear that I was feeling. Aldea somehow knew that I was teleported here. The last time I saw him, he was at the school gate talking with someone.

I decided to send a text back but Kate comes rushing towards me from the crowd.

"President, I got an email from my friend Laciel! She said she followed us here. They're at a place called Antoinerei, which is apparently very far from here according to King Estes," Kate was speaking so fast that I couldn't hear the rest.

"Wait, hold up," I demanded. Kate suddenly raised both hands and froze.

"Take everything you want!"she said.

"What?", I was Confused.

"This isn't a hold up?"

*Author's note: Hold Up is like a form of robbery. A term commonly used in the Philippines*

Facepalm. This girl!! I ignored her senseless humor.

"This isn't the time for jokes! We need to find Aldea and Laciel quick. They know something, we don't. They might even know how to get back to our world," I was pumped up to meet up with Aldea.

We didn't have much time to discuss as King Estes sent the guard to come get us. The feast ended with another long speech from Estes.

".....Therefore we of the Moon Elves, shall provide any help we can give to these otherworlders. Starting off with The Moon Goddess' Champion,"

Miya stood up followed by everyone else.

"Dawn Zenith's pride, Miya The Moonlight Archer!"

Everyone started clapping and cheering.

"Lord Cl and Lady Kate, We humbly ask of you to let our Champion join your party in your quest to defeat the demon lord," The king Kneeled down as did everyone else in the room.

"Hai?" I let out in confusion.

Everyone stood up and continued cheering and clapping. The feast is finally over. Miya accompanied us to our room, which was apparently Just beside Elune's chamber.

"Thank God that was over," sighed Miya. "As you have heard I will be joining your party from now on. They said I was the best of the Dawn Zenith but I've got ways to go before even reaching Natalia's level".

I noticed the same button as earlier with Natalia and pressed it.

She's weaker than Natalia, that much I can tell. But she's still way stronger than us. I wonder who is the strongest hero in this world. I'd better ask the Goddess the next time we talk.

"Ask me what?" a voice startled us as we are about to open the door. Elune and Natalia are in one of the King sized bed inside the room.

"What took you so long? We were bored waiting," asked Natalia. Upon seeing Natalia, Miya blushed. Miya vanished and never reappeared again that night.

"Come quick, we have much to discuss".

The goddess answered all of our questions. Antoinerei is a City in the west of here where scholars and magicians gather according to her. And apparently, it's our first destination. We need to find a scholar named Diggie and ask for his assistance in defeating the demon lord. Then we need to move further west to a place called The Misty Mountains to find the supposedly Child of Light and Dark, to find out whether she is an enemy or a friend. The goddess explains that the other gods plan to send envoys to help us in our quest.

So it's like hitting two birds with one stone. We get to meet up with Aldea and Laciel, while continuing with this quest.

The goddess bid us goodbye after her long explanation. Kate and I slept on the two remaining beds with Natalia in the middle.

I was probably sleepy from the day's activities as I was knocked out cold immediately after lying down.
