27 Arc 2.1 The Elves are a peaceful people

Trigger: Some Racist actions would be in this arc

His knees were cold, very cold. The thought entered Shen Jiyu's mind and he abruptly opened his eyes. He was kneeling down on the cold forest floor in front of some kind of wooden sculpture.

Him kneeling? Could this sculpture afford his worship? The moment the thought flashed in his mind, the wooden sculpture of a woman who was dancing broke into pieces.

Shen Jiyu stood up. He was angry, still so angry. He tried to compartmentalize it so it would not affect his mission.

Wei Clan! That group of scum!

His methods did not seem to be working and he could feel the anger increasing rather than decreasing.

"Realm Master." Xiao Shu's voice sounded from his side and he turned to look at the young immortal. The other looked very nervous and had given him such a wide berth like he was afraid.

His fearful and careful actions were as if a cold bucket of water had been poured on his head, calming him down. There was no reason for Xiao Shu to be afraid of him. No matter how angry or hurt he is, Shen Jiyu would never transfer his aggression to an undeserving party. But he was not in the mood to console the other either, he just wanted to see Feng Mian.

He looked around, he was in a forest, a very beautiful one, even by his standards. His slight movement of turning made him feel the extra appendage on his back. Were those wings? He moved and the wings flapped behind him. From what he could see they were huge and were a mixture of sky blue and royal blue feathers. They were beautiful.

Shen Jiyu has never needed wings, both his human form and his tiger form could fly just fine. Not to mention that he had an arrangement of Immortal beasts that he could ride at any time but he had always wanted one.

The reason was simple: His friends, both Bai Yun of the Vermillion Bird Clan and Shui Donglui of the Azure Dragon Clan had a pair of wings that they rubbed on his face at all times.

Flying with wings should be different. At least invoke a different feeling. The moment he thought about it. His wings opened, creating a gust of wind and pressure that made his feet float in mid-air. Controlling the wind was a little harder as he did not want to leak any of his spiritual power but he soon got the hang of it.

After a few minutes, he was lowered gently onto the floor and a small smile appeared on his face.

Xiao Shu let out a breath of relief. He was not sure what The Crown Prince and the Realm Master had gone out to do but when they came back, the pressure that the Realm Master had been emanating was just too much for him to bear.

The Realm Master has just said let's go and headed back into the pod to transmigrate into the next realm, and as for him that was planning to relax for a day or two, he could only follow along, nervous of how strict or angry the Realm Master would be in the lower realm.

At least now he had smiled, so the thing that was bothering him had faded away or something.

Shen Jiyu landed feeling a little guilty that he had gotten carried away. He looked at Xiao Shu, "Transmit the information."

Xiao Shu's relaxed heart skipped again, "Your grace, it is not ready yet but..." He communicated quickly with his clone still in the main hall, "It would be ready in an hour." He looked up tentatively at the other party but Shen Jiyu did not flare up.

"Tell them to begin working on the realm with the third piece once they are done with this one. This inconvenience should not happen again."

"Yes, Your Grace."

In the absence of the information, Shen Jiyu took a good look around. This world had a bit more spiritual power than the first world but it was still very weak and stringent, appearing in very few forms and dispersed by just one source. He glanced again at the broken statue.

"Do you have a mirror? You said that you have experienced several realms before. What kind did this one look like?"

Xiao Shu flipped his hand and one of his favourite items, it was a long mirror.  Shen Jiyu looked at himself in the mirror. His height was roughly 180 meters tall and his hair was long and black with a single braid in front. His ears were long and pointed with a pair of silver earrings dangling from the tip. He was quite handsome and coupled with his white robe, he had a somewhat priestly and serious atmosphere to him. But he looked quite young like he had not reached crowning age. He was younger than Lu Yan in the first world.

"It is an Elven world. I have experienced a world like this. They are creatures with good magic attributes, especially the wood elements. They are peaceful and don't like fights, this is a nice realm."

Shen Jiyu nodded and gestured for him to continue as he picked a direction and made his way.

He had not walked up to ten steps when he heard the mocking voices of some people far up ahead.

"Are you not ashamed? If I were you, I would head into the forest and never come out."

"So, he could stink up the forest. Our forests are precious to us. Please go to the North Mountains and be with your own kind."

"Like they would accept him. A halfling like him is just better off dead. Why don't you go the Melting Madal instead."

There was a burst of laughter and Shen Jiyu frowned, and flapped his wings, hoping to reach there faster.

One of them should have done something because there was a loud scream and another round of laughter.

From the air Shen Jiyu saw them, there were a group of five, three boys and two girls and they surrounded someone who lay down crouched against the tree.

A boy reached down and plucked another feather from the figure against the tree and the figure trembled screaming out loud as he shrank back to the tree.

Shen Jiyu felt pain and anger in his chest and he yelled from above, "Stop that!"

At the moment of his heightened emotion, he could feel a connection with the tree down below and he controlled it. Its branches stretched like long winding robes and picked the group of teens that surrounded the figure and threw them into the forest.

He landed in front of the teenager. Unlike the pale skin of the youths that surrounded the youth and that of himself; the skin of the teenager was an ochre colour, much like the mellow brown that bathed the forest.

"Are you alright?" Shen Jiyu asked, his voice unconsciously taking a gentle voice.

However, it did not seem to placate the youth as he seemed more terrified, backing into the tree as if wishing it could swallow him.
