"I'm Ada Wong. The guy who left? His named Jason, your dad is dead, probably your mom as well, I don't know the details about it though. You're in a facility created by the pharmaceutical company called Umbrella and you're here because I saved your life" Ada spills everything onto him to let him know the cold truth. clearly Ada has forgotten that he still has a seventeen-year-old mind. either that or did not really care.

almost immediately, Steve starts to get choked up to the fact that everything was being thrown at him all at once. He went silent for a second to try to collect himself. more questions started to fill his mind.

"Who brought me here?" Steve asked.

"A man named Albert Wesker, he is also a man who saved your life" she replied sternly

"Oh... Wait." he paused "Didn't you just say that YOU saved my life?"

Ada nodded to his question with a smile slowly curling. "HE saved you from certain death and I saved you from HIM". Ada stretched her arms and Steve slightly looks away not wanting to be rude and stare. Ada appreciates his kindness.

"You really shouldn't stretch like that when people are around" Steve teased as he opened the water bottle and took a few sips.

"Why not?"

"Because someone might stare" Steve responded

"But what if I want someone staring?"

Steve smiled and realized he had put the serious moment aside for a flirt and then chose to bring the subject back "so, where is this Albert guy?" Steve asked as Jason came back with white clothes.

"The fucker's dead," Jason blurted. "Killed by an old friend, Chris Redfield" Jason spoke out.

Steve gasped lightly when he heard the last name Jason said. "That last name. It so familiar to me". Ada sighs and closed her eyes as Steve snags the clothes and quickly puts it all on

"Chris Redfield was a fun boot. He chased me through thick and thin this year. He was fun," Ada joked.

"A guy who chases a sexy girl in desperation..." Steve teased a tad more "that's just sad".

Ada laughed hard and savored what Steve had said as Jason stares at Ada, baffled that a kid like him was able to make Ada Wong crack in laughter.

When she regained her composure, she looked at Steve and felt that it was best to be bold now. She finally spoke the words Jason and her were scared to say.

"Steve..." she started "You have been asleep for fifteen years," she went silent to let Steve soak in the truth. "You're..." she hesitated, "You're probably in your early thirties now."

Steve's smile had quickly vanished, as he heard the number fifteen. his breathing had slowed down to a complete stop. Steve was too much in shock to remember to breathe. is heart was racing and he felt he was on the verge of puking. Ada places her hand on his shoulder showing a face of sorrow and continues to give more bad news.

"That's..." she paused unsure on how to say the rest as best as she can "That's not the worst part. You.. You have been infected with something called the T-Veronica Virus. I can't explain it all since it looks like you're about to pass out any second now. All I will say is to not look in the mirror"

Steve was frozen stiff, unable to react properly. There was no proper way to react from all of that information. He had a moment of silence so that he could regain composure long enough to tell Ada to leave "...Thank you, for being blunt with me." he said in a cold and saddened tone "If you guys don't mind, I'd like some time alone to let all of this sink in".

Ada nodded as she heads out to the door, grabbing Jason's arm signaling him to leave with her. As they both left Steve quickly broke down into tears. His slightly quiet weeping had quickly become, Steve clinging together his hands, up pressed onto his chest so he can breathe in after every cry and scream of sheer sadness.

Ada and Jason, listened to his heart aching cries outside of the door, feeling his pain. The thought that Ada had felt for Steve before he woke had pondered her mind once again.

"This was your choice, Ada," Jason said. "When Wesker had found out that the virus had bonded to his blood cells, he knew extracting the virus from Steve would be relatively useless for him. You kept him alive, behind Wesker's back."

Ada glared at him knowing what he's implying, "Whether it's my fault that he feels this way or not, he deserves a second chance to live." Ada was obviously trying to defend herself but her argument was not well praised with the echoes of Steve's cries. "It doesn't matter, either way... He's alive now". Jason growls as he storms off as Ada heads the other direction.

Hours pass, as Steve felt his face and realized his face had gone numb, from how hard he had cried. After all that sorrow, he could finally think straight.

All of his memories were blurry and coming in and out. The only things he was absolutely sure about, was his last name, his mom's face, how his dad used to work for umbrella and that's about it. He sighs out some double breathing.

Steve could not help but wonder what Ada had meant when she said not to look in the mirror. He felt his skin on his face and other than being softer and thinner than how he remembers, he could not feel any deformities. he felt the length of his hair and it shockingly went down to his shoulders. He could see his own hair for the very first time. His hair obviously was not the reason she had told him to not look in the mirror.

Steve's eyes scoped out his surroundings and found a bathroom door at the opposite corner of the room he was in. He knew what he was going to do. His curiosity had already gotten the best of him.

Steve sits up on the bed, as he then places his feet on the cold solid ground. He expected himself to feel really weak but to his surprise, he stood up with ease. Like his legs were supporting a feather of a body. Steve could tell that he had gotten taller than how he remembers. He really did not want to believe that it actually has been 15 years, but his increase in height alone, confirms it. he walks his way to the bathroom. He stops right when he is about to grab the doorknob. From here on out, whatever he sees in that mirror is what will change his life forever.

Steve embraces his new life as he grabs the doorknob and twists it open. The door creeks revealing a dark bathroom. the lights were off.

Steve searched for the light switch, found it, but did not reach for it yet. He enters the bathroom and turns facing the mirror, Steve took a deep breath as he then flips the light switch revealing his face. Everything about him looked older. His jawline more firm, his cheeks were thinner, his shoulders we a bit more abroad than before. All of that was ignored when he had seen his own eyes. Steve leaned in to get a closer look.

The outer layer of his iris was a dark tinge of red, as the color seeps towards the pupils, the color fades into a dark yellow. He stared in awe for a few minutes, letting himself get used to his new eyes. Eventually, Steve took another deep breath as he then speaks out to himself on how he feels

"I... look awesome"
