"I'm already tired of this gloomy atmosphere... "Ethan said to himself, after being locked up in the lab for so long.

Everything was getting so boring and for some reason, after all the lights went out Ethan could see in the dark, at first he was amazed but now it was nothing to be surprised about, after all, Ethan even preferred not to see, if he had to see at every moment the bodies of dead people, which for some reason tempted him to take a bite.

Ethan didn't really know what they had done to him, since he had been given those two serums he started to feel very strange.

The constant headaches did not seem to stop anytime soon, either, as they remained constant.

"What's wrong with me!"

Ethan shouted in frustration as he found himself wandering mindlessly throughout the lab facilities, which apparently belonged to umbrella.

Ethan wondered as he watched dozens of zombies walk through the corridors, apparently headed in a common direction, so Ethan decided to follow.

Ethan's only way out is for one of the people working in the lab to tell him how to open the lab doors, which were now locked by some security mechanism that was surely installed in the lab.

The horde of monsters at a slow pace apparently headed for a barricade formed by people, who surely wanted to take refuge from all the chaos that was happening in the laboratory.

Ethan, without the slightest hint of pity for the people inside the barricade, approached and tried to find a way into the barricade.

There appeared to be no way to enter the barricade other than through the door, which was covered by what appeared to be metal shelves that must have been heavy.

"This must weigh a lot... How can I get inside with those people? "Ethan said to himself as he gave a little push to the metal shelf that must have weighed over 200 kilos and had for sure many other things that added to its weight.

But that little push had apparently been enough, as the shelf moved easily, so Ethan unthinkingly kept pushing until he left a gap big enough for him to enter where the survivors were.

As a token of his kindness, moments after he left a space for Ethan to pass, he pushed everything back to keep out the monsters who stood by and did nothing.

Explosion

It was moments after Ethan closed the space through which he had entered, when he received many bullets all over his body, at first he thought he had died but he felt no pain.

There was no blood coming from the wounds that must have been made by the bullets, rather there was no trace on Ethan's body that he had been the target of many shots when the bullets were on the ground without having penetrated Ethan's skin, the only trace that he received a bullet being the clothes with holes in them on Ethan's body.

* Shouting

When the survivors saw that Ethan hadn't taken any bullets in his entire body, they began to scream in panic, which caused the zombies outside the barricade to start getting wilder.

"What's the matter with you people? " Ethan complained as he approached the people who were apparently afraid of him.

The people who were inside the barricade, apparently a group of 5, two boys and three girls who were not older than 20 years by their appearance, were apparently scientists.

When Ethan saw that they were scientists working in the lab doing so many horrible things, he lost all calm when he didn't think to treat them like people and wanted to demand a way out.

"I want you to tell me the way to open the lab or I will see to it that the monsters you created eat all of you "Ethan spoke, this time without a hint of gentleness in his words, he demanded that they tell him what they were asking for or they were all going to be food for the monsters on the other side of the barricade.

*Silence

The scientists had fallen silent, apparently not believing that Ethan could talk, something that took Ethan by surprise, after all, why were the people in front of him so surprised that he was talking.

"What's wrong with them...maybe they don't speak English...maybe they speak another language "Ethan spoke again with confusion, stepping out of his role as the bad guy, he was not good at being so aggressive with people and now he had proved it.

"You understand our words... "Replied one of the girls in the group, she was a brunette girl with straight hair.

If I had to say, Ethan, now that he had a good look at the girl she really was very attractive to Ethan, after all, you don't always meet a very pretty girl, so he stared at her for a moment, until he changed the focus of his gaze so as not to look like a pervert.

(Ethan) "Yes...I want to know how to open the emergency door that apparently has been locked by some mechanism that was activated when the monsters came out and started causing chaos."

"It can't be...!" Said in desperation the girl as she apparently seemed to know something, that Ethan wanted to know.

"Well I want you to tell me why you got all worked up when I said the facility shut down when I said we were trapped "Inrerrogo Ethan.

The girl was apparently hesitant to say, but after several minutes she finally ended up answering Ethan's question, and apparently the mechanism that closed the facility so that no one could leave was no one else but the artificial intelligence that was installed in the laboratory.

The artificial intelligence was apparently programmed to eliminate everyone inside the facility if everything gets out of control and the zombies end up getting out of their containers that hold them for future use.
