Star - Meeting More Family

The day after I had dinner with my father and my aunt, I was having breakfast with Artem in our private room. It had been a busy and overwhelming first day at the Fae compound. To say that it felt like it took over two weeks just to finish that one night wouldn't have been much of an exaggeration at all. Right now, all I wanted to do was rest since it felt like I hadn't spent much time around Artem lately, even though I know that wasn't true.

Things never go according to plan though now, do they? That was why we ended up getting a knock at the door just after we were done eating. I knew that we weren't likely to have a slow time of it though. We were only here for a few days, and there was so much for us to do. I didn't really know what it all entailed just yet, but I did know that I was going to be seeing more of my father at some point.
