1 1. Another chance

It was like a flash. John couldn't believe it! He has always been careful of what he does wherever he goes. To be killed by a truck, came as a surprise to him.

'So! This is really it huh?' he thought as his vision blurred.

All of a sudden he found himself in a black room. So quiet and so dark. It gave John an eerie feeling as he stood up and looked around.

Seeing nothing but darkness John accepted that this was the end of the line for him.

'Sigh. Just wish I had the courage to confess my feelings to Nikki' he thought as he remembered his hot class captain who was his friend also.

It is very safe to say that his life has been wasted. Most of the time, he stays indoors playing games. He never associates with people too much. He was not a bully but instead he was the bullied.

John didn't manage enjoy anything in his life. He was an orphan who grew up in an orphanage. At the age of twelve, seeing that the field of medicine and computer was making headlines in the work industry, John set his goal to pursue education and become rich.

As someone who has done a lot of subjects, he just couldn't get a hold of chemistry. The subject seemed too complex for him, so he removed his eyes from the medicine field and faced computer.

What did he want to become?

A game developer!

The best that the world has ever seen. But tragically, his journey has half started when he had a car accident.

"Why does fate have to be so cruel?" John muttered as sadness became of him. He couldn't accept it, why would this be the end of the road for him?

As he was about to give up completely, a bright light flashed in front of him.

The light blinded him for a second but his eyes soon adapted to the light.

John's jaw dropped. What he was looking at now was what one would normally see in games or read about in stories.

I was a blue half transparent screen with clear words written on it.

As he read it completely, his heart began pounding against his chest continuously. He wasn't sure whether it was out of excitement or whether it was that he was going to get transmigrated to another world to become a hero of some sort.

"Now's not the time to think about it! A chance is a chance! I'll get to live again!"

John couldn't hold in his excitement. His words were filled with joy and tears trickled down his face.

This time for sure, he would make sure that he doesn't waste his life again. This is time, he would be in the spotlight. No more getting overshadowed, no more being bullied.

'This time it's going to be different'

John's vision blurred as the screen's light faded out of his view.

Meanwhile, in a room a boy with white hair lay on the bed. His crush just humiliated him in front of other people.

This white haired boy had looks capable enough to become a top super model on earth, but despite his looks, he couldn't still get one girl that he liked.

With pain in his heart, he pulled out a mystical looking dagger.

This dagger had runes all over it, it exuded a dangerous aura.

The boy pricked his palm a little with tears in his eyes. The boy's palm suddenly started turning ash in colour and started spreading all over his body.

He lost his life at that point. He fell to the floor while holding the dagger as his entire body turned ash in colour.

The room fell dead silent, as if no one inhabited it.

From nowhere, a white light suddenly appeared in the room and entered the boy's body.

The boy skin started to turn back to its pure white colour. And he seems to not be pale anymore. In a few seconds his body wasn't ash anymore.

*Gasp*

The boy suddenly gasped for air as he sat up with speed.

"I was really sent to another world!" John exclaimed as he touched his face, he could feel it.

But his celebration was cut short as a sharp pain flooded his head. It looked like memories of the body of the person he inhabited. They weren't too clear but he now knew that he wasn't on earth anymore.

"This just keeps getting better and better." John said with a slight smile.

Reincarnation: Being reborn as a baby again with memories or no memories.

I'm not sure if I'm correct but this is what I think they are. If Transmigration means something else please tell me in the comments.
