Zenith didn't understand a single thing about poison, but he still made an effort to taste it first. At the very least, if there was something wrong with the concoction, he would feel the effect too.

"Do you want me to teach a thing or two about poison?" Dawn was not serious about it, this was a knowledge that she learned from Lyra in her spare time, since she didn't have a lot of friends to talk to.

However, Zenith was serious with the offer. "Yes, please do." He leaned over and kissed her forehead. "But before that, you need to get well first."

Zenith helped her to drink the medicine and she lay down on the bed again, they chatted for a while until her meal came and she ate it, only then Dawn slept again.
