The Pervert and the Red Hair.

"You won't answer you creep!" she demanded, her voice cutting through the noise of the bustling crowd like a knife.

Ren's heart sank as he realized the misunderstanding, his attempts to explain drowned out by the noise of the surrounding chaos. He opened his mouth to speak, but the words died on his lips as the young woman tightened her grip on his arm, her accusatory gaze burning into him with an intensity that made his blood run cold.

"Ren's heart pounded as he struggled to explain. "I—I'm not trying to do anything! That paper on her shoulder, it's mine. It's really important to me," he stammered, his words spilling out in a rush.

The young woman's grip on his arm tightened more, her eyes narrowing. "Sure, that's what they all say," she snapped, clearly unconvinced by what seemed to her like a sorry excuse.

In that moment, Ren felt a pang of frustration and despair wash over him once more, the elation of his discovery fading into the background as he found himself trapped in a whirlwind of misunderstanding and confusion that he couldn't get himself out.

"Excuse me, I'm sorry," Ren began, his voice barely audible above the clamor of the crowd. "I didn't mean to startle her. I was just trying to retrieve something that belongs to me."

But his words were lost in the chaos, drowned out again. The young woman's grip on his arm tightened further, her expression hardening as she regarded him with suspicion and disdain.

Before Ren could respond any further, another voice joined the confrontation, this one belonging to a young male. "What's going on here, Hana?" A young man appeared beside the woman, his voice full of concern.

"I look away for one second and you two are both gone." His gaze shifting between Ren and Hana with curiosity and concern.

"This guy here said he was trying to grab something from Nino's shoulder, but I don't believe him one bit. " Hana explained, her tone still sharp as she shot Ren a pointed glare. "He was definitely trying to do something bad. Just look at his evil looking eyes, creep, gross"

The young man's eyes flicked to Ren, his gaze probing and intense, his eyes narrowing with suspicion as he sized up Ren. Ren met his stare back head-on, his resolve unwavering despite the mounting tension in the air.

He was tall.. freaking tall, Ren thought. Ren was no slouch either at 5'8 but in front of his guy, he looked small.

"What is he?... 6 inch , 6'1 nah he has to be 6'2 " Ren wondered. "He's even taller than Kaito!."

"What were you trying to grab?" the young man asked, his voice firm and commanding.

Ren hesitated for a moment, very much aware of the weight of the situation bearing down upon him. If he answered wrongly, this situation could turn ugly very quickly.

But then, summoning every ounce of courage he possessed, he spoke, his voice steady and unwavering.

"I was trying to grab a piece of paper," Ren explained, his words measured and deliberate. "It is very important to me. It belonged to my older brother."

For a moment, there was only bleak silence and nothing more. Broken only by the distant hum of the crowd and the soft rustle of Sakura petals drifting lazily on the breeze. The three stood in tense silence, the crowd of students bustling around them, oblivious to the drama unfolding in their midst.

Then, as if on cue, the person with the paper on their shoulder turned, their movement dislodging the paper. It floated gently down and settled on the ground between them

Ren's eyes opened up in relief as he bent down to retrieve it, with trembling hands he grasped the crumpled document, his fingers brushing against the familiar texture he had grown accustomed to for the past 6 months.

With the document finally safe in his hands, a triumphant smile spread across his face. He straightened up, clutching the paper tightly.

"What's wrong, Hana?. We are going to be late on the first day. " The person turned, letting down her headphones. "Why do you look worried." The person sounded concerned, clearly oblivious to the commotion that was occurring.

As Ren slowly rose back to his feet, his black eyes eyes met with her pale blue eyes.

"Yuki.." He let out by mistake.

The lady's eyes lit up with confusion as she was completely out of the picture of what was happening

"Here it is." Ren waved.

"I'm really sorry for the whole misunderstanding," Ren said, his voice filled with genuine gratitude and a touch of embarrassment. "Thank you for not letting it get lost again."

The young man's expression softened, his features relaxing as he regarded Ren as not a foe. "I see," he said, his voice gentle and reassuring. "I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. I'm glad you where able to find your paper."

Hana's expression softened abit "Just be more careful next time," she muttered, a hint of apology in her tone.

"Uhm. Hana you can let go of his arm now." He laughed.

With that, Hana released her grip on Ren's arm.

"Let's go the two of you, you are going to be late on the first day." the young man gestured for them to follow him, as he wove through the crowd with practiced ease.

"Hiroto san I still don't trust him." Hana whined, as they walked into the crowd.

"Why did he call me by that name?." Nino wondered, as she looked back.

"Who is he?." She asked Hana as they disappeared into the crowd.

With the precious piece of paper safely in his possession once more, Ren felt a wave of relief and gratitude wash over him, as he watched the young man and Hana disappear into the crowd, he couldn't help but feel thankful for this unexpected encounter, even with its rough start.

Tucking the paper securely into his pocket, Ren resumed his journey, his steps lighter and his resolve stronger..
