92 Strange Group

There were strange presences coming from outside of the Karate Dojo and a crowd had started to form.

It made it difficult for others to exit and it was causing a major disruption to everyone that wished to leave or enter.

Even those busy working out and sparring had been distracted by the commotion.

Kimi saw Mitsuwa running towards the door and pushing her way through the crowd in order to see what was happening and in an attempt to solve it. 'Despite her previous experience, she is still the same. Not that it is a bad thing though..'

Down to the core of her being, Mitsuwa was someone that highly valued the place she called home so she would defend it and try to solve problems that appeared.

She may have confronted Kimi and others who had done nothing wrong in the past but that was still related to the Karate Dojo and her desire to protect it.

In the case of her confronting Kimi, Kimi found it quite annoying since she believed she had done nothing for warrant such treatment.

On the current events, such actions were quite welcomed since she was taking action to try to solve the problem rather than creating a problem out of something very small.

Mitsuwa was like a proud and fierce warrior going into battle as she made her way towards the front of the crowd until she appeared in front of the group of people standing there.

They were all dressed in strange clothes and had their Pokémon out which had stood around blocking the path that everyone could use to enter and exit the Karate Dojo.

Kimi stood back watching from further away as if she was waiting to observe how everything proceeded.

It was unknown if she would take action or if she would just watch throughout the whole event.

Mitsuwa began shouting and scolding the group for their wrongdoings and disrespect towards the Karate Dojo but she was met with arrogant sneers of the people.

It reached a point where words no longer worked on them and the only thing that would solve the issue was to fight it out.

As if falling for their provocation, Mitsuwa released Hitmonlee causing most people to make room for what was about to take place.

Her summoning Hitmonlee was technically her acceptance to a battle according to the laws of the city.

Normally it was fine if she or others ignored such provocations since if the group did anything beyond their provocation, they would have to face the consequences from the officers of the city.

Such laws helped to protect people from trainers who used their Pokémon against unarmed people who did not have their Pokémon out.

There were a lot of designated places to battle but it was not too strange for a battle to suddenly take place inside of a building or within the streets of the city.

It was common practice for most others to stand back to make room for the battle to take place and so they would be able to avoid getting caught up in it.

Her acceptance of the battle had made it so that no matter what happened in that place whether she won, lost or even lost her Pokémon at that time, it was all within the confines of the law and she could not pursue the matter any further.

Normally the crowd would be cheering for their little star of the Karate Dojo to do her best but there was a strange silence among some people who had more experience than others.

It was like they had recognised the people and it was already too late to warn Mitsuwa who had already accepted their challenge.

It became a one on one battle between one of the strangers and Mitsuwa.

On the side of Mitsuwa was Hitmonlee while the stranger let one Pokémon come forward from those that had blocked the way previously.

It was a Slowpoke just like all the others except a single Mr Mime being among them.

The line up of them being seen by Kimi and others had caused them to understand why everything was happening.

The Gym next door was full of new recruits after Sabrina gained the status of the sole Gym Leader in Saffron City.

Those with potential to use psychic abilities were taken in along with some psychic specialty trainers.

Some among them were known as channellers that dealt with Ghost types or trainers that trained them.

Having more people under them and suddenly gaining such a high position, it was easy for some members to become arrogant and cause trouble.

The recently dethroned gym next door which was surviving as a Karate Dojo was seen as a target and as an eye sore to them.

It was unknown if the Karate Dojo had given up on climbing back up to become a gym but not everyone would trust they had given up completely.

If that was the case then it would be better to crush them along with their spirit to let them be aware of their place.

The battle had begun and the powerful legs of Hitmonlee pushed it forward towards the Slowpoke opposite it. "Lee!"
