Just as Kimi was praising Nidoran, she removed Mankey from the Pokéball and released another figure too that was Happini.

The surroundings had been checked to ensure that it was safe to let out Happini and she used Heal Bell to dispel the status condition of Mankey before it was taken back along with Mankey.

Another figure jumped out from a nearby tree in an instant and slashed towards a flying figure that fell down from the sky.

Scyther landed by the Pidgeotto after completing a successful assassination and showed a gloating look towards Nidoran as of to show it who was better among them.

Grimer moved slowly towards Scyther and did not seem to care much about the rivalry going on then opened its mouth wide to swallow the Pidgeotto.

Nidoran seemed to have become with the familiar scene and turned her head away to not watch on as Grimer swallowed the Pidgeotto.

A change began to take place all of a sudden as Scyther began to glow all of a sudden and was surrounded by light.

Kimi moved quickly and removed a bottle from her bag then poured it down the throat of Scyther before it started to fully undergo its change.

It was a talent nurturing potion that was only suitable for before Scyther would evolve and it had ingredients that were best suited to metal and bug types.

Its form began to change within the light back and forth until it finally revealed itself upon completing its evolution.

What had been revealed was a two legged insect Pokémon with a red, metallic exoskeleton that had grey retractable forewings and hind wings with simple, curved venation.

It had a rounded head with three blunt horns extending above its forehead and eyes with dark yellow pupils.

It had broad shoulders and thin, segmented arms that ended in large and round pincers, a large, rounded abdomen with three black, chevron-shaped striped extending from its waist down the front.

Through applying small amounts of Metal Coat to add a thin layer for Scyther to let its body absorb it gradually, the amount that Kimi had purchased in the past only had enough left for the use of one more Pokémon.

All that was needed was to wait for it to successfully be absorbed completely and for Scyther to begin its evolution into Scizor. "Scizor!"

Nidoran looked towards Scizor with a little envy upon seeing the change took place and nudged the clothes of Kimi so that she could continue fighting to allow her to grow stronger. "Nido! Nidoran!"

Kimi received a message all or a sudden and sighed. "It finally happened and just in time. Return."

She took them all back and wandered back into Cerulean city where she found a less public spot to get changed after making sure she was not being followed then stepped out wearing ordinary clothing, sunglasses and a beanie that covered her hair until she reached closer to her home.

A quick look around was done before she removed them and jumped over her wall and entered through the back garden then made her way up the back of the building to reach her bedroom window.

Once Kimi had climbed up through the window into her room, she saw someone lying on her bed with the covers over them and a sleeping mask over their eyes.

They seemed to be sleeping but Kimi still removed the mask and said. "You can change back now."

The eyes were not right but the rest of the person that lay there looked exactly like Kimi and they soon changed shape into a Ditto. "Ditto."

Kimi rolled her eyes and took out a small block then threw it over. "Here is your reward so now go back to the pond."

It was very easy to hide a group of Ditto among a group of Pokémon like Feebas who rarely gained the attention of others.

Nobody would suspect that there would be possible hidden spies or doppelgängers among them that were being used by Kimi to cover for when she was put during the night.

Kimi went to sleep and woke up the next day to begin her journey once again but she made one final stop to say goodbye to Misty and after she finished packing and saying farewell to her father.

She made sure to leave behind all kinds of breeding tips and other useful information to her father so that he could handle the raising and breeding of the Feebas.

Her father did not have a job yet and had volunteered to help out the four sisters in their gym but there were no paid wages so Kimi had to arrange for him to be able to make a living for himself once she was away.

Happini was seated on the back of Growlithe who was walking on one side of Kimi and Espeon was walking on the other side as they walked out of the city to continue their journey.

Old P had contacted Kimi the night before with the first task he had given her in a while so that she would have some more time to grow stronger.

Kimi accepted the task since it was about time that she was leaving and her growth was being restricted by her surroundings.

A challenge was what was needed for her to increase the growth of her main or side teams and other environments were better suited than where she was.

The growth between level one to twenty went by quickly if they had enough talent but once they started getting to a higher level, they would need more battles from stronger opponents but her current region was among the weaker regions and many of the routes were controlled enough to reduce the dangers.

It was only some other places that were left as they were or had gotten too out of control that could be a real challenge and possibly a danger to Kimi and her teams so those places were where she would consider visiting but first she would choose a place most suitable for her present situation and around where her mission would be.

A little later after Kimi had left Cerulean City, another girl that was Misty left on her own journey by bike and headed in another direction.

Misty caught a Poliwag of her own with the help of Kimi and its talent was identified to be quite high but she needed to travel to a more suitable place to begin training and catching other water types.

The original Misty would later catch one and would evolve it into a Politoad much later once it was exposed to a kings rock and Kimi knew that, she had kept the contact details to check her progress and to sell one to Misty when it had evolved into a Poliwhirl.

She was a little safer on her journey with a companion to protect her and she would soon come into contact with another trainer if everything went the way it should.
