1 Chapter 1: What do you mean i'v died

Cold and dark. Those were the first few things that entered Leo's mind as he slowly woke up. Picking himself up he slowly moved his dark red eyes to look around the dim black room. The only source of light seemed to be coming from the moon if you could call it the moon. It had a bright red glow to it that seemed to threaten those who stood under it with a blood-red hue. Thankfully the black room seemed to have absorbed the red light preventing it from lighting up the room.

'Where am I?' he thought as he looked around the room for some kind of clue. 'The last thing I remember was working at my job.' he said to himself as he started to remember the events. He was shot. 

Leo considered himself to be an ordinary kid. He didn't live a big life as some big-time celebrity, but at the same time, he didn't live as a nobody. Just last year, he'd finally managed to become the manager of a branch for a bigger company that created, in his opinion, crappy gacha games. He had created multiple successful gacha games to the point that he was able to take control of that location. That is to say if not for one of his coworkers who couldn't stand constantly being demoted because of his bad work. The next day when he entered the office he was shot right in the head killing him instantly.

"Right, I was shot," he murmured as he stood up rubbing his hand on his head looking for the place he was shot, "but where is the wound?" He asked nobody, not expecting to get an answer.

"Of course you did die, but I brought you back." a voice purred into the room. it sounded a mix between feminine and masculine with a hint of rasp mixed in.

"Who's there?" Leo faltered a second before continuing. "I'll have you know I know karate."

"Mr. Cantar let's not joke with ourselves here." The voice chuckled.

"No need to be rude," he whispered.

"Now now, let's just get this over with shall we? I'm sure you've read, what's it called... Isekai manga?" With a nod of Leo's head, the voice continued. "Well, basically it's one of those. you'll get cheat abilities, a younger body, yada yada. Any questions?" The voice stops long enuff for Leo to open his mouth before continuing. "Great now, off you go."

Leo opens his mouth to protest but stops as the blood-red moon starts getting brighter and brighter before encasing him in the red rays. "W-Wait where am I going, what's happening! you can't just..!" And with a flash of blood-red light, he disappeared.

"Oh... I guess I should have told him some more... oh well."
