She was annoying, small yet a whole lot of guts. The old man didn't even hesitate to sell his daughter to me

"I wonder what sort of environment she grew up in " I thought

"a bad one " I mumbled to myself while

laying down on the bed.

I was restless and just couldn't shake off her thoughts from my mind. Since I couldn't restrain myself from the thought of her, I decided to go and visit her. I owned a company worth billions yet I went to escort a woman myself and now here I am standing in front of her doorsteps, desperate for her glimpse and lowkey apologetic for my actions. for a while I stood there in silence and then eventually went in. I found her sleeping cuddling the pillow nearby. I couldn't didn't the heart to wake her up. I gently approached her, she slept like a mess. As gentle as I could I removed the hair strands from her face, she was...beautiful, I hate to admit it but I've never seen a woman as beautiful as her. She was simple and modest but she had a spark that glows in the dark.

" Eres demasiado hermosa para ser real" I whispered against her ear but a little distant from her before I left

" sir....sir! Please give me a last chance!" pleaded Mr. Swansea on his knees

" Why should I, " I asked

" I beg you! I will do anything and everything to pay off the debt " begged Mr. Swansea

" anything? " I asked curiously leaning back on the couch

" Yes! I... I can even sell my daughter to you! " replied Swansea

"Sell your daughter? " I asked lifting my left brow

" Yes! Yes! She is my adopted daughter and she is really pretty! " blurred out Mr. Swansea

"Do you think your daughter is wor— " said my right-hand man dexter

"Deal" I interrupted

" wha— what? She is not worth 20 million " asked dexter looking at me amazed

" I said the deal, " I said loud and clear avoiding dexter's gaze

"Then— thank you! " said Mr. Swansea looking relieved

" take him away" I said.

The guy didn't even take a breath and ran away covered in sweat.

" why did you do that? " asked dexter sitting next to me

" 20 million is a day's salary to me, it's not a big deal " I replied

"But why on a woman? " dexter asked

"Just think of it as I need a new toy " I replied "We lack a maid anyways " I added.

"I do wonder why I gave up 20 million for her, maybe, I have the answer now" drowned by my thought I found myself entering my room. I've been thinking a lot lately maybe I need a break and a good sleep.It's been barely 5 minutes and I was almost asleep but a soft knock on my door got my attention, I told the person outside to come in. It was serenity. I was a bit shocked and uneasy too by her sudden visit but my expressionless face said otherwise.

" Will you let me go if I pay off your 20 million? " she asked

"How are you planning to pay off 20 million, " I asked adjusting myself back to my spot, a little offended.

" I will find a job " she responded

" you wouldn't be able to earn the amount of 20 million your entire life unless," I said

" Unless? " she asked hesitantly

"Unless you are going to sell your body," I said mocking her which lowkey felt horrible.

"If I can get rid of you, why not? " she said sarcastically

I could easily tell she wanted to slap me in the face so bad but she knew she was helpless, she knew she was abandoned and it brought me joy watching her whine.

"nevermind " she turned to walk away

I pulled her by the wrist and pinned her down against the wrinkled bedsheet

"Who told you that you can get rid of me when you belong to me?" I asked her while my hand aggressively found its way down her throat melting in her silk-soft skin. she looked petrified. I rolled my palm further and brushed her rose-tinted soft lips with my thumb. Her heartbeat was loud and clear, her wrist was helplessly trying to escape my clasp and just when I could say anything further tears started rolling down her cheeks, that was not something I wanted her to do, I didn't want to make her cry.

"Please...please let me go...I beg you, I will behave" she plead beneath me and it made me feel horrible, it was not the feeling I was seeking and it was not the reaction I wanted. I got off her and she ran away like her life depends on it before I could say a word, I wanted to apologize but I watched her leave because I have never apologized to anyone. something in me just couldn't let it slide and I tried to follow her up.

"Serenity," I said knocking against her door but she never answered. I stood there blankly until I eventually got back with heavy thoughts.

" nevermind," I told myself after silence fell in the room and I eventually lay down.

" I will do something to make it up to her tomorrow " I thought to myself. Suddenly a thought made me stay awake just the way I was. I grabbed my phone and texted Dexter

dexter: Yes sir.

Val: I need a favor...

Dexter: Just order

Val: I kind of pissed off serenity.

Dexter: The new maid?

Val: Yes, don't call her that. What should I do to

make it up to her?

Dexter: I don't know. I will try to find a way.

Val: be quick with it.

Heavy thoughts stormed my mind and eventually, I came up with an idea to make it up to her. I went ahead and checked the time and it was always 10 PM. I took a deep breath and took off my T-shirt, never slept with a shirt on. As time passed by I relaxed and fell asleep for the night was still young.

Bonus note : Dexter studied all night about how to apologize to a woman to help out Val.
