"Fraud.." Emma's eyes widened and she looked at the Guards walking towards her with fear. She took a step unconsciously but when she realized she had no reason to be scared, she stood straight.

"I have never committed a fraud. You are accusing me unjustly." She bellowed in an indignant voice. "You can not send me to prison without proof." her teeth gritted and she growled at the guards when they came closer.

"Proofs.. All these files on the table were nothing but proof, lady Emma. lady, are you even a noble?" Emma shook her head, confused. But then her face hardened.

"Are you accusing me because I am not a lady? Your grace, I have worked for this palace for years. I am one of the most experienced women when it comes to accounts in this dukedom." she raised her voice, trembling with rage and fear.
