16 Chapter 16

Charlotte was walking behind her husband as they headed into the dining room. She continued to see Axel after the incident this morning. Charlotte still feels bad when Axel learns the true story of the past that was shared with the warriors of the Florin Kingdom. She was afraid that Axel would threaten her with that.

"We should walk side by side right?" said Axel.

Anna knocked on the door of the queen's room while still carrying tea and cake that should have been delivered to the queen's private room. From inside the room, Charlotte ushered in with a voice that sounded irritated.

"Queen, this is tea and cake," said Anna.

"Just put it on the table," Charlotte replied.

After Anna placed the tray with its contents on the table, Anna tried to speak by telling her what she saw in the queen's private room. She was unable to ask because it was a private matter.
