Chapter 17 — Arrogant Jun

"Fuck! Who is this guy?"

"On what basis backs up his arrogance?"

"This guy isn't afraid of Ling Chen! Looks like we're expecting a good show."

The people present were bustling with excitement, looking at the two groups quarreling. Their numbers have yet to be called and it was boring waiting. Now that entertainment was presented in front of them, they were instantly attracted.

"It's you!"

Peng Di looked at Jun with shock. He had seen the youth back in his uncle's store but didn't think much of it. However, seeing Jun in this place wasn't his expectation.

"You know this guy?" Ling Chen, the blue-clothed youth, asked, his face solemn.

"I don't know. I only met him earlier in Sixth Herbs' Store with Peng Liu."

"I see." Ling Chen's face turned indifferent.

Everyone who had business with a mid-sized business wasn't worthy of his attention. This person in front of him is probably a young master of a small clan who is ignorant of the immensity of heaven and earth.

Lord Chen's lackeys arrogantly bootlick the [Villain 1], and Jun found it funny, so he played along.

Saying that Jun straightened his back, looking around like a proud supreme expert.

"Many girls are crazy for you? I bet you're forcing them with your background."

"Kid, stop lying and scram out! No one is impressed here!"

Everyone was infuriated at the arrogant Jun. He was arrogant, fearless, and bragging, everyone was furious and irritated.

"Hahaha, you're making me laugh. Punk, move away now, I don't have patience," Ling Chen's face was cold.

"Peasant, how dare you address me so casually? You should address me as Young Noble Shan, and kneel with respect and devotion. Fine. Fine. I'm a magnanimous person, I can pardon your insolence."

However, Jun didn't give him time to talk and clapped his hands, "Oh, perfect! I'm missing an errand boy. Your strength is decent. How about you take the position? Don't refuse too quickly, you only have one chance to serve a supreme prodigy. You better cherish this opportunity."

When Jun ended his speech, everyone was in an uproar. They couldn't believe this kid's arrogance knows no bound. He actually wanted a genius like Ling Chen to be his errand boy? If this isn't courting death, what is?

However, Jun just told him to relax and stared at Ling Chen with a haughty look. "Peasant, be quick and kneel in front of this young master. Being an errand boy is your greatest opportunity. Yet, you're hesitating? Know your place!"

The veins of Ling Chen exploded and his anger finally erupted. "Attack him!"

His lackeys immediately pounced at Jun like mad dogs, but Jun just stood there in the place.

"This kid is done for!"

"Deserves it! Who told him to be so arrogant?"

"Look that kid can't move! Hahaha, he probably had realized the situation! It's a pity that he's already late. Did he think this is his small mountain?"

Everyone was laughing disdainfully at Jun who was rooted in the ground, unable to move in the incoming punches.

Ling Chen was sneering, and Peng Che's heart was filled with nervousness.

But Jun was calm. He sighed while shaking his head, "Peasants really are blind. Very well, since you wasted my generosity, prepare to get beaten!"

Jun tapped his feet in the ground and his body turned into a stream of azure light, evading the punches that were about to hit him.

"What?"

The lackeys were dumbfounded.

Jun reappeared behind a thin youth and punched him with the [Water Fist], sending him flying in the air, coughing blood.

Jun snickered and punched the other lackeys. Each of his punches was vicious and ruthless. The lackeys were only third or fourth meridian opening, and Jun's 5% punch was simply too much for them to handle. They were knocked out one by one, few of the bodies lying in the ground shook, squeezing out the last drop of blood in their lips.

Jun turned his head to the last lackey, Peng Di. The kid was frozen on the spot, his face filled with fear. All he thought was to escape.

However, Jun didn't give him the opportunity and slapped the boy casually, sending him flying to the crowd, seeing stars.

Everyone was stunned by the sudden turns of events.

They expected the kid to be beaten miserably, sending him away begging for life. But what is this?! Why the scene didn't follow the script?!

The crowd looked at the Peng Di who was thrown in their direction. At this moment, the unconscious Peng Di loosened his closed mouth, and blood flooded out. Then a tooth came out, falling in the pool of blood. He was miserable.

The people who previously disdain Jun shivered at this scene. Thank goodness they didn't attack and only taunted, who knows they would be these people lying in the ground?

Ling Chen was similarly couldn't believe what he saw. It was only a short moment, but his lackeys were already beaten to the ground like they were ants. There was no resistance at all!

Jun walked towards him.

Jun slapped him in the cheek. "Looks like you're not going to admit defeat."

Jun slapped him again and asked, "Are you convinced?"

"I...I'm convinced. Stop, stop slapping me! I'm convinced! I'm convinced!"

Ling Chen cried, his face was red like a pig. Before his face was like beautiful flowers, but now the image turned into a pig. He simply couldn't be identified if he was a human or a pig!

The people who witnessed such a wretched scene couldn't help but shuddered. They didn't dare to breathe.

This arrogant youth was just too strong!

"Brother Jun, you..."

Peng Che approached Jun in shock. He didn't expect that Jun was this ferocious. He was feeling a little happy seeing the wretched face of his enemy, but the appearance of the girl beside Ling Chen just made him uncomfortable.

Jun smiled and was about to slap Ling Chen again when an angry voice sounded out.

Jun's eyes narrowed. The difference between Element Refinement and True Element was the usage of elements. Element Refinement cultivators aren't capable of spreading the Qi outside, and only when one reached the True element can one do such a thing, just like what the old man was doing.

Thus, in the Element Refinement, one can only use the element to do certain things like internal boosting. For instance, Blade Fang. He was a peak Martial Veteran but the best he could do was to spread the earth element on his body and his weapon, thereby boosting his defense and attack respectively.

But, the True element realm was different. Even if he had awakened his earth element but didn't step in the True element realm, Blade Fang wouldn't be able to manipulate the earth element to do attacks. He was unlike this old man who can spread his Qi out from his body to manipulate the wind element on the outside, thus forming a spiral wind on his feet!

In this example, one could see the difference between Martial Veteran and Martial Master was like heaven and earth!

There was simply no comparison!
