9 Nine

'Ugh... Why must the sun force me awake?' I said to myself as the morning sun shined upon the previously sleeping me.

Looking at the clock I see that I have roughly one hour before it is time for me and Bella to head to school so I can go back to sleep but I wanted to take a hot shower so I forced myself out of the wonderful embrace of my bed and walk into the bathroom only to immediately stop upon walking past the mirror.

"What the hell..." I said aloud as I looked at myself in the mirror.

Yesterday after coming home I checked myself out and noticed that I had changed some but not a bunch, but I couldn't say that now. Although I was Tristan from 7DS one thing I didn't take from him was that stupid hairstyle, it was awful and I would never subject myself to that kind of life so I grew out all of my hair until it reached my lower back but now it was reaching behind my knees, and once again I was taller, maybe around 6 foot 1 (or) 185cm.

Still staring at myself I began to notice an uncanny resemblance with one of the characters from Final Fantasy, Sephiroth. During my sleep, I appeared to have matured, like before I still had my young and still growing body but now I looked like a more mature version of myself that was a replica of Sephiroth.

'Would Tristan have looked like Sephiroth when he fully matured?' I asked myself feeling that would make sense.

Although I looked like Sephiroth I still had my heterochromatic eyes and my muscles didn't change any, I didn't look like the same dude as I did yesterday and now I was going to have to handle the surprise other people would have because of that. I already was going to have to explain my increase in height which wouldn't have been hard but now I had to explain an entire upgrade to my appearance as a whole.

(Tristan's new appearance)

(Tristan's muscles)

"Magic." I said as I moved away from my place in front of the mirror and went to turn on the shower.

Explaining my new appearance everyone and them believing me while shrugging it off wouldn't happen. I changed too much for people to just say 'Eh alright, nothing to see here', so the plan I came up with immediately was to use magic on the common populace. For everyone other than the people I was close with I would use magic to make them accept it easily as if my abrupt growth spurt was an everyday occurrence.

My reason for not using magic like that on people I was in close relation with is because this type of magic could be considered mind control and I would never do something like that to the people I cared for, I don't like using magic on them period.

'Good thing I took a break from modeling, if I showed up like this even if I used magic to make the people around me not care for my change, the people who saw me in the magazine would definitely raise their eyebrows.

"I planned to tell Bella and Dad about myself after the truck incident where Bella was saved by Edward but perhaps I should just get it over with today." I said while the hot water soaked my body.

I wasn't afraid of their reactions. I knew they would accept me for what I was, it was just that I didn't know if not was the best time to tell them.

"If now isn't a good time then when will it be?" I said before releasing a sigh.

What I said was bullshit. I was afraid of their responses to finding out I wasn't human. I knew Bella was fine with vampires and all that but I'm no vampire or shifter, I'm part demon and everyone who knows about demons hates them. Perhaps I was overthinking it and I hope I am but the thought doesn't leave my mind regardless.

"Let's just get it over with." I said with a serious tone after getting out of the shower.

Since I only sat under the water while in the shower after getting out I cleaned myself up properly using magic before deciding what clothes I would wear today at school and by the time I was done I had roughly 45 minutes until I needed to leave for school but I didn't think the conversation would last that long.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Yeah?" A voice said from the other side of my dads door.

"Hey dad, can you come down to the living room in a few minutes? I need to speak with you and Bella." I said from outside the door.

"Yeah, gimme a sec." Dad replied.

"Okay." I replied before knocking on Bella's door and saying the same and unlike usual she couldn't detect the seriousness in my voice so she didn't joke with me.

Currently, I could be seen sitting on the recliner in the living room with a thoughtful expression on my face and a few moments later a look of resolution appeared on my face. Although I was waiting for Dad and Bella my thoughts were about the illusion I put myself in yesterday, I decided to delete the memories.

The illusion was a prevalent thought in my head no matter how much I tried to push it away it came back and I knew it would have a bad effect on my day-to-day life if this persisted so I decided to simply delete the bad memories of what happened in the illusion while keeping everything I considered of use.

Deciding I would delete the memories I didn't want I did exactly that and not even a few moments after I did so I began to feel better.

"Nice." I said with a smile, whatever was on my mind a moment ago really weighed down on me.

"Tri- What the fuck" Bella said with wide eyes as she stood next to Dad whose eyes were as wide as hers.

"Sit down guys, I've got some stuff I need to tell you." I said causing the two to sit down on the couch next to each other.

"Son... I know we joked a lot but steroids aren't good for you." Dad said after snapping out of his surprise.

"And how much did you take? You look way different, do we need to take you to the hospital?" Bella said with worry.

"I didn't take steroids..." I said seriously.

"Then how-" Bella said before being interrupted by me.

"I'll explain everything." I said causing her to nod as she noticed my seriousness.

"How do you guys feel about the supernatural?" I asked the two who looked at me oddly.

"Like vampires and shit?" Bella asked.

"Yeah, sure." I replied.

"They're cool as shit!" Bella said passionately.

"And you Dad?" I said.

"I haven't really thought about it before..." Dad said before gaining a thoughtful expression.

"I like the concept but I don't know much about that kind of supernatural fantasy stuff." Dad said.

"I see." I said.

"Well, I'm just gonna drop the bomb now." I said before continuing.

"Sooooo as we all know I am adopted right?" I said causing the two humans to nod in agreement.

"Ok, so here's the thing, I know who my biological parents are." I said before waiting for their response.

"Okay?" Bella said quizzically.

"I never looked for them, I was born with the knowledge of them." I said.

"How? Nobody is born with any knowledge." Dad said questioningly.

"That only applies to humans." I said causing Bella and Dad to look at me oddly.

"Before you start speaking let me finish." I said to Bella who was just about to talk.

"My biological mother's name is Elizabeth Liones, she is a goddess." I said as I stood up and released my God wings while my left eye turned into a golden triskelion-shaped pupil.

"And my biological father's name is Meliodas, a demon." I said as I released my demon wings.

Currently, I stood in front of Bella and Dad with my two pure white God wings on the left side of my body and my left eye pupil a golden triskelion-shaped. On the right side of my body, two pitch-black wings appeared while my right eye was dull ink black.

"..." Bella offered no reaction but her wide open mouth and face of shock were enough to tell me how she was feeling.

"..." Dad also didn't say anything but his expression mimicked Bella's so I knew how he was feeling as well.

"So yeah, I'm a Nephalem." I said as I put my wings away and sat back down allowing them some time to think about what had just occurred.

We all sat in silence for a few minutes until Dad finally spoke up.

"I'm not really sure what to say son, I suppose I'm happy you told me." Dad said still slightly surprised.

"..." I wasn't expecting such a laid back response so I didn't have an answer.

"What? Did you think Dad would be like 'Oh god no! A demon child!'?" Bella said with a smirk as she noticed my expression.

"No... I just wasn't expecting that response." I said before looking away.

"Heh, you were probably scared we'd get mad or somethin'." Bella said with a shiteating grin.

"I was not." I replied with crossed arms.

"Hehe, so can you use magic or something cool? Or are you just some uncool god?" Bella asked as she leaned back into the couch as if she had won our altercation, she was taking this better than I thought.

"Yeah, I can." I replied causing Dad and Bella's eyes to shine in interest.

"What can you do son?" Dad asked curiously.

"A lot of things." I said as I lowered the gravity around the entire house before speaking again.

"Get up and jump." I said with a smile.

Bella and Dad looked at each other before doing as I said.

"Woah!" Bella said as she jumped super high with little effort.

"Oh shit!" Dad shouted after jumping and losing his balance causing him to land on his back.

"Simple stuff like that." I said before standing up and walking towards the back door before being followed by the two.

"Or something like this." I said as we stood on the back porch before snapping my fingers and conjuring a storm.

"Damn dude." Bella said as she looked at the storm above us.

"That was pretty cool son." Dad said with a smile, I could tell he was interested in this type of thing.

"Thanks." I replied.

"We'll talk more on this later but for now I need to get to work, and you two need to get to school." Dad said bringing an end to this discussion nicely.

"And Tristan." Dad said as he looked at me.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"I love you no matter who or what you are son." Dad said before giving me a quick hug and making his exit.

"So you're a god?" Bella said curiously.

"Part God, yeah." I replied.

"Thats pretty cool, we're totally gonna need to talk more about this later but for now, how're you gonna explain your new look to Alice?" Bella asked as we stood on the back porch knowing that I wouldn't care for other people's opinions but Alice's would matter.

"...No clue." I replied as we walked inside.

"Better figure it out." Bella said smiling at my internal turmoil.

"Yeah." I replied as we grabbed our school stuff before heading out to our cars.

Bella and I both got into our vehicles before driving toward school and while doing so I thought about what just happened. The response of Dad and Bella were great but I knew I would need to go into deeper detail later on since I knew they were both very curious about me and magic.

After driving for a bit I arrived at the school parking lot and was soon accompanied by Bella.

"Weird..." Bella said as we stood next to our cars.

"What?" I said questioningly.

"Nobody is staring at you." Bella said as if something weird was happening.

"Yeah, good for me." I said nonchalantly.

"Did you use m-" Bella said before I placed my hand over her mouth faster than she could see.

"Not in public Bella." I said seriously causing her to nod.

"Sorry." Bella said.

"You're fine." I replied as we began walking into school.

Bella and I spoke a little bit more before going our separate ways due to having different first-period classes. My third day of school was no different than my first, boring. My first through third periods were as boring as could be but once I arrived in my fourth period I was a bit more entertained but different from yesterday, Emmett wasn't here.

'Perhaps they're hunting today.' I said to myself after the class ended.

"Ready?" Bella asked after I came out of the locker room.

"Yeah." I replied not wanting to stand in line although I knew I would have to.

Bella and I made our way to the cafeteria before standing in the line where we would get the food that would kill the strongest beings with ease, mystery meat.

"You really gonna eat that?" I questioned with a grossed out expression on my face.

"It's not that bad..." Bella replied not believing her own words.

"Yeah right, we both know you'll die when you eat that." I said as we sat down at the table we were sat at on our first day.

"I didn't see Edward today..." Bella said as she pouted before taking a bite of the mystery meat and gaging.

"Ewwww..." I said as I looked at Bella.

"Shut it." Bella replied after regaining her cool.

"I didn't see Alice either." I replied unhappy.

"Wonder where they are." Bella said as she played with the fork in her hand.

I didn't respond this time and instead opted to switch the subject so we could get our minds off the absent vampires and soon enough lunch came to an end and after another few hours so did school.

"Alrighty." I said as I stood in the backyard of the house before I lifted the illusion of me working on the lab so that Bella and Dad could come and get me if they needed something.

"Time to build some shit." I said after flying towards the lab and walking in.

To be continued...
