Chapter 1: Teleported in Nazarick?

It had been a long day at the gym for Alex. As he walked through the front door of his apartment, all he wanted to do was unwind with some anime.

He tossed his gym bag to the side and headed straight for the fridge to scrounge up some leftovers to reheat for dinner.

As the microwave heated up his food, Alex scanned through the different anime options on Crunchyroll.

He paused as he saw the familiar skull logo of Overlord. "Man, I've watched this one so many times already, but it's just so good," he thought to himself. Hitting play, Alex popped his food out of the microwave just as the opening theme started.

"Hmm.... let's watch the 1st ep again..." Settling into his favorite recliner with dinner in hand, Alex got cozy to watch his favorite non-human characters giving respect to the bewildered Momonga.

He was just getting to the best part of the episode when a knock at the door interrupted him. "Ugh, who could that be at this hour?" he muttered in annoyance as he hit pause.

When he opened the door, there was no one there. Looking around in confusion, his eyes fell on a plain brown package sitting on the doormat.

"Umm, I beg your fucking pardon? Hello..? Is this parcel sent by my mother..?" Picking it up curiously, there was no name or return address.

"Ugh, whatever..." After giving it a shake, Alex carried it back inside to investigate further over the rest of his dinner.

Using a letter opener, he carefully sliced through the tape and opened the flaps. Nestled inside packing peanuts was an ornately carved black orb.

Alex's eyes widened as he recognized the similarities between the design of the relic and the designs that came to his dreams not long ago. Under it was a small folded note with words that made him angry: "Change the fate of Nazarick and become the supreme father."

"Some sort of prank... no, only she knows about my dreams.. and she is not someone who pranks others..."

Intrigued by the mysterious item, Alex failed to notice a faint blue glow emanating from within the relic as he turned it over in his hands, examining every intricate detail.

Without warning, a surge of energy shot through his body, blinding his vision in a flash of light.

When he opened his eyes, Alex found himself no longer in his apartment, but standing at the summit of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.

Alex blinked, unsure if what he was seeing was real. Intricate stone carvings and an otherworldly sky filled with stars and it all looked somewhat familiar. It was what could only be the Great Tomb of Nazarick's 6th floor. "No way, how is this possible?" he said to himself in disbelief.

*******

Aura was happily patrolling the 6th floor with her twin brother Mare, reminiscing about Lord Momonga's recent visit. "Did you see how cool Lord Momonga looked when he came to meet us?" she said excitedly.

Mare shyly nodded. "H-He was so powerful. I'm glad that he didn't let us and he's our master now."

As they chatted, Aura suddenly sensed a disturbance in the magical fields surrounding the Tomb. She turned alert, gripping her knuckle duster tightly. "I feel a strange fluctuation. Come, let's check it out."

The twins bounded through the forest, trying to pinpoint the source of the anomaly. Aura stopped short when she spotted a figure near the colecium. But it wasn't one of the Tomb's normal denizens.

This new arrival was unlike anything they had encountered before. His fair skin and green hair as well as his pointy ears marked him as elfin descent, though rugged features and curled horns betrayed demonic lineage as well.

Towering muscles rippled across his frame, and a spiraling pattern of crimson runes covered his right arm. But most startling were his eyes - glowing orbs of amber that seemed to pierce their very souls.

As Aura studied the intruder, Mare let out a gasp, "A-an Elf-Demon hybrid..?"

Alex was baffled by the things happening in front of his eyes, before he could process what was happening, two twin elven figures appeared at the end of the hallway. "Intruder! How did you bypass our security defenses?" called the girl dressed like a man, Aura.

Alex spoke, his tone was silky yet commanding which confused him also. "I mean you no harm. Little Dark Elf, Might I ask where I have found myself?"

Aura bristled at this intruder's boldness. "You stand in Nazarick, the Great Tomb of Ainz Ooal Gown. State your purpose here at once!"

Aura quickly sent a silent message to her master.

In his throne room, Momonga paused as he received word from Aura.

'W-What? An intruder on the 6th floor? Impossible! wait if he can come to the 6th floor unnoticed that means he has our guild's ring!' he thought in clear excitement.

A sudden surge of calmness hit him as a green/golden light emitted from his bony stature.

"Hmm... if he was one of the guild members, Aura and Mare would have remembered him... Maybe he is in his human form?" Momonga thought out loud in his raspy magestic emotionless voice. His curiosity was piqued.

|Aura, do not engage in battle. I will take care of the matter personally.| Momonga ordered Aura by a telepathic message.

Activating his own magic, he transported himself directly to the scene.

"Stand down guardians. I will handle this personally," commanded Momonga with authority. Turning to Alex, glowing red eyes studied him closely. "State your name and purpose here, intruder. And you had better have a good explanation for trespassing in Nazarick."

'S-Shit.. this man is a psycho...' Alex stared up at the towering skeletal figure in awe and fear.
