CHAPTER 76 The Promised Vows

  "General, where are you going?"

  "To the training grounds. I want to see the progress from General Cairo and hear some details," I answered Jack as we sauntered through the field with my hurried steps.

  "But the invitation designer is arriving soon, General." I heard his sigh as he followed me. "We must not be late. I don't want to get scolded by His Majesty." There was distress in his tone that made me turn my head at him.

  I smiled sheepishly. "Worry not for we won't stay there that long, Jack. By the time the designer arrives, we will be there just in time." I winked at him.

  He exhaled sharply. "I'll never win against you, General Rachelle, didn't I?"

  I chuckled seeing him frowning. "Of course."

  When we arrived there, I didn't see General Cairo. I even had to ask some of the people, who were here to train, as to where he was after they greeted me. I nodded at them and left the place. But I came to spot the Eagle Mist training on the other side of the field.
