37 FIRST HUMILIATION 2

Mack grabbed the old butler's neck, "You must think I'll let you humiliate me in such a manner you fool." He tightened his grip around the man's neck as the man struggled to free himself.

Bean's face had contoured a pain as he struggled to breathe. He scratched Mack's hands, pinched, and tried to pull his hands away but the man's grip only tightened. Bean could see his life flash right before his eyes.

"How dare you?" The two maids standing beside their new butler looked terrified at what Mack was doing to the old man. They were only following the instructions of their Miss Anna's new husband. Who knew it would result in this?

All the workers of this mansion have always known Mack as a patient man. He was kind to everyone, including the maids who were way below his status. But tonight, they were seeing a different person.

"Let him go what do you think you're doing?" The security guards rushed towards the scene as they struggled to loosen Mack's grip from the old butler.

Did he want to kill him?

Anna who had been standing next to Noah all this time frowned at this and she walked towards the entrance of their mansion with Noah by her side.

"Mack, what are you doing to my butler?" He turned to meet her gaze. At the same time, his eyes turned to the man standing beside her. The weight of his presence seemed to intensify, creating an almost tangible force that bore down on Mack.

As Mack's hands retreated from the butler's neck instinctively, he stumbled backward, unable to keep his footings.

The coldness in Noah's eyes didn't diminish; if anything, it deepened, casting a chilling aura that left Mack intimidated.

Noah's presence was outstanding, making it hard to go unnoticed.

Mack could feel the coldness of those eyes from where he stood, sending shivers down his body even if he hadn't said or done a thing yet.

Who is he?

At the same time, the general and his daughters all rushed out of the mansion to find the reason for the commotion going on. "What is that man up to now? Grace muttered, but rather than the notorious Noah, they saw Mack, along with their new butler, the new security men, and a few maids standing around the butler.

Bean had fallen to the floor as he struggled to catch his breath with the help of the maids that surrounded him. He isn't as harsh as he posed to be but could be very strict when needed. He had no idea this man would assault him this way.

"What's going on?" The general demanded.

"What are you doing here?" Anna asked the man who had almost killed her butler at the same time.

Mack finally shifted his gaze from the man in the darkness and turned to the general. He hadn't expected to draw the attention of so many people around. He was only here to see the general but this stupid butler had tried to provoke him.

"Ah, I've finally seen you Father. I heard you were sick and decided to come pay a visit. I even bought fruits for you, but he..." Mack pointed at the butler still trying to recover from the shock he experienced.

"He refused me to step in stating that I was banned from entering the Sui's family house forever," Mack said through gritted teeth. He knew the general would never say such thing, considering their years of friendship.

General Sui wanted to say something but then his eyes went to the man standing next to his daughter and he pursed his lips.

"Your butler humiliated me today." Mack continued.

"Disrespect or not, no one lays a finger on my staff. Mack," Anna said, her tone cutting through the tension like a knife.

"Don't you think he was following orders? How dare you step your feet into this mansion." The devil beside his wife smiled feeling so proud at the moment.

Mack stared at Anna in disbelief. How bold... He remarked inwardly. The Anna he knew wasn't this bold, she wouldn't dare say a thing to him. What he couldn't understand was how she changed drastically in only a few days.

"She's right Mack, you don't lay a finger on the staff as they are only following orders." General Sui stated.

"Are you saying..."

"You and any Yong family are forbidden from entering this house or even coming close to the Sui's ever again. Do you think we wouldn't find out what you did to Anna?" Grace asked.

They had no idea and had learned everything from Noah, who not only threatened them but reprimanded them for their behavior earlier.

To think they had blamed Anna for everything that happened and called their daughter a slot for Mack's mistake.

"What did she tell you?" Mack asked with a frown.

"Id Nari pregnant or not Mack?" Kathrine that has been silent all this while finally asked.

If asked any day she would always pick Mack over that demonic Noah, but she couldn't believe he had done that to her niece. It would have been better if he did it with others than with that Nari.

"I... S... She's pregnant." He admitted feeling defeated.

"GET OUT OF HERE!! LEAVE MY HOUSE!! The general yelled at him pointing at his security to escort him out. Mack has never been more humiliated in his life.

He turned to the direction where Anna stood, "You've won the next time, but you'll pay for this humiliation I'll make sure of it." He smiled.

"Go on the net and see how people are ridiculing you, this time they'll do the same to your family." Noah clenched his teeth at Mack's words.

"I'll destroy you all!! He shouted as he walked to his car. Everyone watched Mack step into his car before driving away.

"Let's get you to bed," Noah said holding her hands as he helped her inside the mansion. She was too upset to notice the wary faces of her family members the moment they saw Noah.

Katie didn't like this man for her niece one bit, and Mack's threat didn't seem like mere talk. She let out a long sigh. Can there ever be a peaceful day in their lives? It was usually one trouble to another since her brother's death.

She stared at the couple, the man had looked like the beast before, but now looked like a cute cat as he brought her niece's hands up to his lips, kissing it multiple times. It was like nothing else mattered to him except for Anna just like he had told them.

Did he really love Anna, or was he just using her? Katherine hoped it wasn't just a fling and would pass soon. She hoped he really loved her niece.

Noah was a handsome man, but it was his dangerous demonic nature that scared her.

"What do you think about them?" She heard Grace ask as they stepped back inside the mansion.

"I doubt their relationship would last, especially when Anna finds out about who he is." She said.

Her niece will never choose this man over them.

As much as she wanted to tell Anna herself and end this nonsense, she knew not to. She would still choose Mack over Noah, she just had to convince Anna enough.

Any sin can be forgiven. She didn't want to believe Anna had thrown her seven-year relationship with Mack. She could see her niece wasn't showing any affection towards this man yet, which meant she didn't love him.

So why then did they get married?
