Anna and Noah finally arrived at the Sui's family mansion. Unlike Anna who had a dreaded look on her face, Noah was calm and relaxed. He was happy to finally meet her family.

Though he wasn't happy that she was to stay here for a few days or even weeks. "It'll only be for a while." Noah tried to lighten his mood.

He stepped out of the car with Anna, "Come here." He stretched his hands towards her and she placed her hands in his.

"If you hold me how do we convince them we're just friends." She asked worriedly peeking around just to make sure no one was seeing them.

"You talk as if you can't wait to be as far from me as possible." He entwined their hands together dipping it inside his pocket.

Anna bit her inner cheek at his words, she didn't mean it that way. If anything Noah was being considerate and patient with her. "I didn't mean it that way."

"I know." Noah said as they approached the mansion. When they reached the entrance of the mansion, the housekeeper opened the door for her little miss before she even knocked. It was because she has seen their car arrive and wanted to know who was visiting.

"Miss Anna." Gina exclaimed hugging her little miss and Anna hugged her back. She has missed everyone at home, even if it has only been a few days since she left.

"Gina."

"I'm so glad you're back miss everyone missed you." The woman beemed.

"Including grandpa?" Anna asked and the woman's smile feel a bit, but then she smiled again.

"Yes he missed you the most." Gina said.

"Where is everyone?" Anna's eyes moved to peek inside the house.

"Your aunties are with the general, he hasn't been himself since you left. Come I'll take you to him." The housekeeper didn't bother to look at the man that had arrived with her little miss until now.

Her gaze locked onto him, her eyes widening in shock as her entire being seemed to freeze in place. The wary, dark figure before her held her captive, and she couldn't tear her eyes away. The coldness in his gaze surpassed anything she had ever encountered. Not even the infamous General Sui could beat this man. This man was the devil.

Gina wondered what her miss was doing with a devil like this. A handsome devil. It's obvious he has seduced her with his handsomeness. She hoped her miss knows what she's doing.

Noah's large form moved through the door as his eyes scanned the mansion.

Is this the place his wife grew up in? He wondered. It looked... too little, compared to their family mansion, but it was a cozy mansion. He thought. Noah didn't notice the woman that froze before him till he turned to look at her.

Anna's line of sight also followed Gina and her eyes fell on Noah. "Gina this is Noah my..."

"Boyfriend." Noah responded before Anna gave him a lower status. He narrowed his eyes at her surprised reaction to his words.

Was she planning on giving him the lowest status?

Anna gritted her teeth at his words. They had agreed from the car that she was only going to introduce him as a friend, not a boyfriend. Is he planning to kill her?

Though her grandfather wanted her married, he didn't want any other man than Mack. To him, Mack was made for Anna since they have been together for the longest. It is only right they end up together.

"There must be a misunderstanding." Anna laughed. "He's just a friend Gina." She quickly said.

Did this woman really just reduce him from her highly husband to a mere friend status.

"How can you adress you hu..." She quickly covered his mouth with her hands. Her little palm was placed across his lips in an attempt to stop him from speaking but this devil kissed her palm instead and she quickly pulled it to her side.

Gina eyed both people. Are they really displaying their affections before her? She smiled. But ass quick as the smile came it was replaced by worry.

She knew Mack existed and as long as Mack existed Anna will never end up with another man. Infact the call was all only a ploy by her grandfather to bring her back home and force her to marry Mack since she did return.

Gina knew even if her little miss was still so young, she wasn't stupid. She knew there was a reason Anna was willing to break her seven years relationship with Mack.

"You promised not to say a word." She whispered.

"Not when you can't keep your end of the bargain." Noah drawled dipping his hands into his pocket.

"I didn't say anything wrong." Anna defended herself.

"I will not be downgraded to the level of a friend. I'm your boyfriend as Gina already knows." He declared and Anna couldn't protest against it. She didn't have the strength to argue and just let him win.

All she wanted to do was see her sick grandfather whom her aunt has told her about.

"Gina please take me to grandpa." Anna said for the woman to lead the way.

"You can wait here sir." Gina informed Noah who made himself comfortable on the couch. Gina led Anna to meet with her family.

Noah didn't argue with the housekeeper on not going with Anna even if all he wanted to do now was strangle that old man to death for the sleepless nights he would have for a few days.

He couldn't wait to see the troublesome old man that has decided to invade his peace and privacy. One thing he hated more than anything was sharing. He hated to share his properties and the thought of sharing his precious for a few days irked him.

"Do you need me to get anything for you sir?" Gina was back and those dark cold eyes met hers.

"Where is my wife?" Noah asked. He didn't mind if the woman knew about their secret or not, but the earlier they knew the better. He couldn't tell why Anna was scared of telling her family, it's not like they can take her away from him.

"Pardon me sir, wife?" Gina asked again, her wide eyes not going back to normal anytime soon.
