Friendship

She goes back home,takes a shower, takes her supper,then watches television for a bit, before going to lay on her bed to clear her mind.

Then she remembers she had to message Anode which she did.

Text"hi Mr Anorlde, hope you got back home safe "

"Hi Cindy, yeah I did hope you did too,glad you kept your promise and messaged me."

"Hope you're having some rest after a hectic work day? And you've had something decent to eat too?" Anna asks

"Haha, yeah mom I did, thanks for asking. But that question should be directed to you." He says

"Worried about me? Haha yeah I did, on my way back home I stopped at an African restaurant,and got some jollof rice and turkey, equally bought some fruits and natural juice, so no need to worry dad.i ate properly haha."Cindy typed

"Wow interesting, you seem to be a fan of African food, I would love to try it too. If you can recommend some good restaurants and tasty delicacies, why not take me there." He proposed.

"Sounds great to me,I like Trying new things and exploring too, so we shall create time for that I wouldn't mind." She tells him.

"I like adventure too, why don't we plan a trip? I am already excited to try out new things with you, at least I have someone like you, who seems fun to be around ."

"Common, don't be too quick to judge what makes you think I am fun to be around,I could be boring sometimes you know."she says

"So when will you be free, and when is your holidays "

"Am always free on Sundays, but this Sunday has been booked by my friends/coworkers and I will go clubbing to celebrate the effort we put together which was finally a success,because you signed the deal."

"Your performance was outstanding, I must confess you're not just the most pretty kind hearted girl I've seen so far, but you're also smart and brilliant. Kudos to you and the team.but can't I join you guys?"

"Nope,you can't, it's an office outing,will create time for another one then invite you."

"Ohh that's fine ,but sad at the sametime, anyways make sure you enjoy your day to the max."

"Thank you I will, good night am drowsy,we talk tomorrow "

"Ok angel,sweet dreams I'm drowsy as well." And smiles so bright

"Thanks and do same." She says before falling asleep

The next day, she goes to the office and carries out her normal office duties, effectively as always.

When it was time for them to close work, the boss then came to inform them that he has a fun idea, why don't they go out separately,girls team vs boys team.and there's a special gift for the team that wins.

He further explains that it will help them know which team is more sociable, then all go out when the month ends,before their 2 weeks holiday break, but he assures them that he will take them on a vacation as he had earlier promised before the year ends. So there's still time.

They all accept and are happy to explore this new challenge with the two teams wishing to win over their opponent and take the prize.

"So a day after tomorrow is our deal right?" The boss asks

"Yes they happily agree."

You can go back home early tomorrow so as to prepare for the party.the boss said before walking to his car

They all smiled and challenged each other before heading back home too.

Cindy then messages Anorde and told him what had happened, and how determined they are to win the boys

"I trust you girls, but the guys will win for sure."

"Cindy laughs and tell, him the girl wi win "

He tells her to send him a picture of her when she dresses for the party,she agrees

"When are you going back to Chicago,?"Cindy asks

"In two days time. Before I forget, I will like to invite you for an audition in our company, you will be my right hand person from perfect Galaxy"

"Oh I'd like to come, but I think our boss will like to honor your invitation himself .so I guess next time will do"she says

"Oh common you two can come together. You are the leader of the marketing department, so it will be important for you to attend."

"Ok fine, I will be there but only if my boss agrees to do it. But I won't be a right hand person haha."

"Let's see how that goes missed, remember we are partners and friends, would you like to see your friend lonely? Send sad emoji."

"Well till then we'll see how it goes." She says

"I will talk to your boss tomorrow so be rest assured."

"Ok sir if you say good night "she added a sleepy emoji.

"Same to you my sweet girl"

"Thank you"she replies and falls asleep

"Damn did she cast a spell on me? Why am I addicted to her? I can't blame myself, she's very pretty, Charming and awesome."

He thinks for a while then decides to call the CEO of perfect Galaxy

"Hello, Mr Raphael,sorry for calling you at this time of the night, I just want to personally inform you, about our auction of some Items, so you and the head of marketing department are invited, I will send you the invitation card personally, when the cards are set. "

"Oh hi Mr Anorlde, it's totally fine, thanks for the invitation. I will be delighted to attend the event , I will talk to the head of the marketing team."

"Ok thanks for your time, good night Mr Raphael."

"A better one for you sir Anorlde."

The hang-up and everyone went back to what they were doing.

Anode had some paperwork to do, he did it and when he was done , he drank some water, and made something light to eat since he was already hungry again, then he finally fell asleep.
