Men As Hyenas

Brian could only move his eyeball in the direction of the disgusting animal growling and scratching for more fresh meat. He hated hyenas and most especially he hated the evil man seated before him, grinning devilishly.

"You may not agree with me, Mr Brian, but hyenas are one of the most beautiful creatures on the planet. I love their tenacity, their ferociousness and their insatiable appetite, just like you and me. You need to see them in action when they take over another animal's kill. It is bloody and savage. Even the animals that made the kill can turn into easy prey for them. They show no mercy to anyone except their Queen. In summary, the winner like me takes it all and the loser like you suffers and begs for scraps." The Axe said in a calm, calculated voice, as he tossed another slice of steak to the greedy animal.

The lion cub roared cutely, hoping to get a share of the meat feast but it was totally ignored.
