Melvin arrived at his Nephew's house very early in the morning, bringing with him, very juicy gossip and hopes of a financial turnaround for the Hart family.

After reconciling with his sister over Brian's selfishness and secretly celebrating Brian's loss, Melvin promised to speak to Lola on behalf of the Hart family.

However, when he arrived at Lola's house the previous evening, He was shocked to see police officers loitering in the area and Lola's house cordoned off.

Posing as Lola's concerned uncle, Melvin got some information from the policemen on standby duty. He was told that Lola attacked and almost killed a rich man by the name of Ian Forde. He was also given the location of the hospital where Ian was rushed to and was currently receiving treatment.
