Rosemary silently wept for the safety of her unborn grandchild. If she didn't know any better, she would swear that Chelsea received the highest lashes due to the numerous bloodied whip marks on her body.

But the one question she couldn't answer was why.

Why would they mistreat and punish a pregnant woman more than others? Why didn't they spare her because of her state? What if she miscarries the child? How would the family or Brian take such news?

Slowly, paranoia set in, as Rosemary kept monitoring Chelsea's thighs for blood, that would signify miscarriage. She kept on this to and fro movement until Chelsea finally regained her consciousness.

"Ahh...f**k!" Chelsea winced in pain as she tried to move, adjusting her eyes to the darkness around her. "Those f**king bastards?" She bit down on her lower lips to stifle the pain coming from her banging head and aching body.
