25 Epilogue

Skylars POV:

I sit by my beautiful mate's side and listen to the patter of feet on the ground. As of now, Blaze is running around the house with her wolf running behind her.

"I'll be back, I'm going out to the garden to try and finish my letter of agreement for the Snow Mountain pack. They need to pass through our land Monday morning"

I nodded and watched my lovely mate walk out the back door. I sighed and watched as Blaze jumped around, her wolf following her actions. I chuckle at the sight.

She just turned 4 and has begun to get into things she shouldn't. Like my knife drawer for instance.

I still have the scar...

"Daddy, daddy! Pyro wants to go outside! Can we go outside and go play in the sandbox pretty please!" My darling pleaded.

I smiled when I heard the name she has given her wolf. Pyro. She still has trouble pronouncing 'r's but the doctor said she will eventually figure it out on her own.

"Go ask your mother, she's outside sitting on the bench by the garden" as I finished the last word, Blaze was running towards the back door.

I chuckle and began working on the pack alliance agreement forms. Adaline wants to become allies with a pack a couple of miles from us.

If the pack agrees, Adalines 'pack' will then actually be considered a pack. Right now we are considered a 'group of mutts without a reliable leader'.

Ugh, I hate paperwork.

Sapphires POV:

I sit by the garden listening to birds chirping while trying to finish this letter.

I hear the sound of small feet running across the grass, towards me. I look up to see my beautiful daughter with a smile on her face.

"Mommy! Can we go play in the sandbox!? Daddy said to ask you!" Of course, he did. Always leaving me to do the deciding. I laugh and nodded my head.

She ran off squealing, Pyro running beside her. I finally finish the paperwork when my mother flashed in front of me. "Hello darling, I have come to inform you that your training will begin again in 4 months. Skylar will be sent to a training facility to learn how to lead beside you"

I look at her shocked, what about Blaze! I voiced this thought and she looked at me sadly. "You're going to have to leave her in the care of someone close to you. You will be allowed to see her every other weekend until she turns 16. Then you will be with me full time. Same with Skylar."

This is outrageous! "How could you expect me to leave my child! She is going to grow up without me! That is NOT acceptable" I yelled, she just shrugged her shoulders.

"I had to do the same with you, and you turned out just fine," she said smiling softly. "You left when I was 3, I never knew who you were until I turned 16. That was not a good thing. I became who I am today without your help, but I don't want Blaze to have to do the same" her smile dropped when I said this.

"I truly sorry, but this is how it has to be" and with that, she flashed away. I guess ill have to make these 4 months the best Blaze will ever have.

"Mommy mommy! Look what Pywo can do!" I turn to see my daughter running towards me at full speed. I caught her in my arms and spun her around. "And what is that sweetheart?"

After those words Blaze made a hand gesture and suddenly Pyro was invisible. "Wow darling that's incredible" I let her down and she went running inside to show her father.

She is truly something special. I'm glad I have her and Skylar in my life. I can now truly say that I am happy.

Don't hate me! I'm sorry but it was time for this story to end. There will be a book 2, so don't be too saddened by this! I would like to thank everyone who has been following this book since the beginning! You have all kept me going! Looking forward to comments and votes from all of you!
